Had a pile of junk that had been sitting down the side of the house for a couple of years and had become quite a mess with leaves etc - Finally decided I should do something about it and called a couple of places. Marco at I-Haul was the first to respond and was close so he came over. By that time I'd added a lot of old tree branches and other garden trimmings to the pile. I have accumulated 15 years or more of various things that weighed heavy on my mind that I needed to get rid of, and have hauled away but I didn't know who to call. We had just moved and had a ton of things that needed to be hauled. I'd been trying to save a few bucks and kept everything in the garage for weeks with the intent that I was going to slowly throw things away on garbage day. Well, weeks went by and still there was a mountain of junk that went nowhere. I called Mark on a late Saturday evening and gave me a quote over the phone and said that he would do everything he could to get everything taken care of first thing the next day, on Sunday morning. As promised, Danny, one of Mark's guys showed up first thing on Sunday morning and hauled everything away in a matter of minutes. As always, you tend to underestimate the amount of trash you actually have until you see it being hauled away and such was the case here. Mark gave me a blind quote and I underestimated what I was asking to be taken away so Danny and I agreed that the quoted price by Mark was not a fair reflection of the work that needed to be done so we both came up with another number that was much more fair to make sure that Mark and Danny weren't going to lose their shirts on this transaction. Danny was fantastic throughout the process. Mark even gave me a call the following day to make sure that everything was taken care of properly and that I was completely happy with the service. Marco was a pleasure to work with from his positive attitude on the first phone call to his willingness to work on a Sunday and be flexible on the timing, to his completion of the project. I had a project that I wasn't sure how long it would take to complete or how much debris it would create. I recently retired and sold my home in Antioch to downsize to a smaller home. After I moved, I had a lot of things that needed to be hauled away. It was so much I was really concerned how much it would cost. I've had hauling done before that was just a fraction of what I needed hauled away this time, and it was very expensive.
