I am a new customer for CT Irrigation. I had some issues with my last service provider (late…read morestartups and shutdowns). After setting up new service for the year (2026), I had a choice of early startup or later startup. An appointment was setup so that I could work with the service technician to explain my system and needs. The service technician called before arriving to say he was 15 minutes out - he arrived 15 minutes later. He quickly did a check of the Non-Return apparatus and found that both brass valve bodies were cracked (this was a result of late shutdown last year by previous service). He had the parts needed on his truck and he quickly repaired that and did an excellent job of installation. We then went through my system zone-by-zone and head-by-head. He found one head that was damaged and he quickly replaced it. He also found a leak in the yard and he was able to cut the sod and immediately zero in on the pin-hole leak in the underground supply pipe. He did an excellent job of fixing that. He also proposed a way to solve a problem I have where I need a sprinkler head to cover a small area in the back of my yard. I am very impressed with the communications with the CT office personnel as well as the service technician (Danny). Danny is very knowledgeable and professional, as well as a good communicator. I would highly recommend this firm for any irrigation project.

Today the service was exceptional. The young technician, Jon Brooks, texted he was on his way. When I answered the door he informed me my mailbox was lying in the street. He then went out, picked it up, brought it into the garage, found proper screws for it then put it back up for me. His thoughtfulness is much appreciated. After that, he completed all the tasks to get ready for Spring. Everyone at Custom Touch has always been courteous and helpful when addressing any of my questions or needs. We found that when it was working, it was last maintained by Indiana Irrigation. I called and spoke to Bob who came out to meet me and see if the system was still operational. The system needed a few small repairs and it was working. Bob is very knowledgeable, professional and takes the time to work with his clients to their satisfaction. He showed us how the system was set up and how to change it's configuration. We have had a few modifications to the system. Additionally, we continue to use Indiana Irrigation each fall to winterized the system and in the spring to set it back on. I am very happy with his work and would suggest his services.

When I finally got the bill and called because I had questions on it, he verbatim called me a liar that I had never received the bill previously. His rationale was that I wouldn't have been able to know that number to text for the bill unless he had sent me the bill through it. I had to inform him that I knew the number because he had originally texted me at 10:15am on May 5th that he wasn't going to be able to make the 9am-10am window. Then he got really defensive so I said I'll just pay this bill and never do business with you again. I then hung up. Again, the employee was very friendly and helpful that came out. We…read moreinitially went to Kurt only with specific enhancement requests to front and backyard but Kurt's assessment suggested foundational improvements to our homes drain pipes, the water flow and then leveling our yard. We are so glad we didn't spend money on beautification and did the actual leg work. Kurt's team was in for 3 days at 3 different timings and their work was nothing short of efficient, quick and immaculate. His team took care of our dogs to ensure they didn't run away when they were moving back and forth from the backyard to the front yard. What could have costed us a LOT of money with just our wishful enhancement requests to our backyard got converted into preventative maintenance for 1/4th the price with actual benefits for the long run. I'm writing this years after the service because I'm going to hire them again and saw they had a…read moreterrible Yelp score. I hired them in May 2013 to install a new system at my home. The other 2 companies would only put what they wanted where they wanted them, James put the heads I wanted in the different zones. His was the lowest price yet his crew did a good job, I liked how they took the water just off the main, the sprinklers can start up and I don't notice if I'm in the shower. There was a problem for three seasons though. Three or four times the water valve underground cracked and water ran out of the pit into the street. James sent someone out every time (one time early morning winter, below freezing), the person apologized, fixed the valve for free -- and I NEVER paid him for a service contract for those 3 years. The fourth time it happened James came out himself. When HE looked in the pit he noticed that my water lines underground were wildly swinging back and forth when the sprinklers kicked on (my pit is really deep), he figured the valve was hitting the side of the pit and would eventually crack. He apologized, replaced the valve with brass this time, and re-configured the piping so that it did not move when the sprinklers kicked on. Nothing has broken since.

He wants to take a satellite drawing and do a preliminary drawing of the yard without coming out to actually SEE my yard. He said he could come out sometime next week but would not give me a date and time. When I said I needed a definite appointment he went into his whole spiel about satellite drawing, email quote, etc. After a couple go arounds to try to pin point a date -- he says that I should call someone else. I agree. This company is not customer friendly!!!
