I used this company for the first time recently. I had always used a different company from York…read morepreviously, but was beginning to get concerns over the quality of their work. I took my wife's car in first to seek advice and was told the tyres were still Okay and to continue to use them until closer to the winter weather setting in and then to have two new front tyres fitted. I did just that and was very happy with the price and the service. I then at the same time asked for a price of four winter tyres for my own car and the price quoted was in line with what I had seen during my research. These tyres are fairly uncommon due to the size and reasonably costly. Despite this, without any knowledge of me whatsoever they ordered these tyres and i said that I would return for them fitted the day following there expected delivery date. I was a little surprised that they didn't want a deposit or contact details. So without any fuss or formalities my tyres were ordered, delivered and fitted as arranged. A great service! My only, very minor gripe is that a dust cover is missing off of one wheel. I know that I could go back however as they only cost about a £1 each I will simply order another set off of Ebay and have three spares. I will definitely be returning to this tyre centre for all my future needs

I used to get a few quotes for things from different places and they were always cheapest so now I just go to them straight away. They never try and rip me off or tell me the car needs more doing than it does, and the whole process is normally quick (they always seem to be able to do the job straight away) and straight forward. I have no reason to stop using them. Last time I used them it was for tyre replacements and the tyres they fitted on my car were good quality and several months later they're not really worn at all.

Whilst on a weeks holiday in Flamborough, nr Bridlington, our Land Rover Freelander developed…read moreproblems with the alternator belt and other rotational issues; after an unfortunate experience in getting the AA to resolve the problem ( having been a gold member with the AA for 13 years), the Freelander was deposited at the close of business day at Crescent garage and Ken, who stayed over to receive the vehicle. Ken, quickly grasped the problem, made very assuring comments, and sent us on our way back to our holiday let, with confidence. The next morning- again, positive " lets get the job done and get you on your way" comments; how refreshing in this day and age of searching for problems v getting them resolved with a positive manner. The car was returned to us midday/ the next day and with a good value for money bill. Well done Ken and all at Crescent Garage. I will always recommend you and the fine service witnessed and offered.
