I used this company for the first time recently. I had always used a different company from York previously, but was beginning to get concerns over the quality of their work.
I took my wife's car in first to seek advice and was told the tyres were still Okay and to continue to use them until closer to the winter weather setting in and then to have two new front tyres fitted. I did just that and was very happy with the price and the service.
I then at the same time asked for a price of four winter tyres for my own car and the price quoted was in line with what I had seen during my research. These tyres are fairly uncommon due to the size and reasonably costly. Despite this, without any knowledge of me whatsoever they ordered these tyres and i said that I would return for them fitted the day following there expected delivery date. I was a little surprised that they didn't want a deposit or contact details. So without any fuss or formalities my tyres were ordered, delivered and fitted as arranged. A great service!
My only, very minor gripe is that a dust cover is missing off of one wheel. I know that I could go back however as they only cost about a £1 each I will simply order another set off of Ebay and have three spares.
