Their house wine is phenomenal and they take great pride in finding the grapes/different varietals to make it come to life. They have a both a red and a white house wine option. The second time we went - and yes, we went more than once in the four days we were there - we enjoyed one of the sandwiches and it was absolutely amazing. The bread, I can't even explain, the bread it's so flavorful and so good and so light. That paired with the delicious meats and cheeses were 100% worth it. They were fast - much faster than stateside barristas - and the made the coffee in a graceful unhurried way. Which is good because they get busy. The place has been family-owned for 40 years. The son is now the barrista. The decor is charming - lots of magnums and jeroboams, cabinets full of dusty wine bottles, full of light. I miss it already! I had a carpaccio plate with freshly cut tomato one morning. Marinated tongue and eggplant another. Most of the family had delicious paninis - my son had freshly cut fruit every day. Lots of regulars.
