My family and I have been going to this location right after church and we love it! The food at this location is spot on!!!! My wife and I really loved our server Ashly! Gave our son a little snack got us refills and sauces that were needed so fast. She was also so friendly. Can't wait to go back. My plate was too good to wait for a photo but my wife on the other hand haha

I&I always has a great selection of beer, their Amber Ale is delicious and always cold! Great service from the young lady behind the counter too. Italia Pasta e Pizza was visiting and we enjoyed two of their hand made pizzas. All in all a nice atmosphere, sitting outside on a nice 70 degree evening.

Great brews and great vibes! A rare reggae venue. Owners, Chuck and Kashi, are very personable and know their reggae! Beers are delicious, and the specials sell quick. Dog friendly. Food trucks Friday-Sunday, as well as local reggae live shows on weekends!

Stopped in for a quick brewsky on a nice Saturday afternoon. I had the Light Ale, which was light and crispy, bolder tasting than a regular lager. My guy order Session IPA which he loooooved!! Nice light, hoppy beer. Not to bitter with aight floral ending. We came early so no one was in the joint. Nice atmosphere, the gal at the bar was nice, so service was good. They had a popup cuban food which we didn't try because we were going to a party. So...

Super relaxing atmosphere. Their IPA selection is tasty. We went in the evening. They have events on other days. Going back to check it out again. Service was good and very helpful.

I had hard time finding this place because the sign is lightly printed on glass door and not easily visible from the street. Drove myself into circular frenzy, but finally spotted them after 4 trips around the block..LOL! I guess my persistence and determination really paid off, great beers on tap and I enjoyed my visit. Love Jamaican vibe! The reggae music playing and island wall decor puts you in the mood for a cold one. It's small little brewery that's offer a modest batch of hand crafted ales and lager. I counted a little over dozen on hand, ranging from mild, to hoppy and some dark beers, including a few fruit flavored and some lemonade brewed ones. They offer good deals on flights, $10 choice of five 4oz beers. Prices on pints are $5-$7 and fill-up on growlers are 10-$14. Worthwhile beers - Session IPA and Coconut Porter. IPA has good malt taste without being too hoppy or bitter. I found it easy to drink and quite satisfying. The porter is dark rich beer and very flavorful. If dark beer intimidates you, this one is up your alley. Hint of coconut is nice palette teaser to the senses. All in all, nice place to hang out and enjoy good beers. Service is great too and they are good about giving samples before you buy. Definitely coming back when I'm in the area.

    Ask the Community - I & I Brewing

Is this business under 21 friendly?

Yes, they are. They have soda and tea for kids

    Do they have food here?

Nope. But I've seen people bring their own (i.e., ordered pizza or Uber Eats).

    Is this place dog friendly?

I have seen a dog in here one time but I don't know if it's ok. The place is small and can get loud so I wouldn't recommend bringing a dog here and not sure if you're even allowed to bring one.

One thing I wasn't a fan of was not being able to sample the beers before committing to a full pour. At a brewery, especially one you're visiting for the first time, I think being able to taste a beer before ordering is part of the experience. I also noticed some subtle political messaging around the brewery. Regardless of which side it leans toward, I personally prefer breweries to be a place to relax, have a beer, and get away from politics for a while. Beer and politics just don't mix for me. Not a bad brewery by any means--the beer was above average--but the overall experience didn't give me much reason to go out of my way to return.

I'll definitely go back and give it a second chance as most of the beers they had weren't my style. There isn't an entrance from the back of the building, so you'd have to walk around to get to the front. There is also street parking if you get lucky. I had visited Strum Brewery on a Thursday night with a friend. I had noticed that they didn't have dinner entrees for sale, so I had gotten birria tacos from two blocks down to bring with me. I had entered right upon opening, and had felt a sense of comfort being there. There was coloring paper on random tables alongside cute, random ballon characters/animals. There was a lot of pride representation and support scattered around, too. This brewery is also very supportive of pet adoption as it is advertised on their coasters. I was able to see the brewery cat for the first thirty minutes. So adorable! I had ordered their Purple Haze Hazy IPA twice! It quenched my thirst on a super hot day! They had AC fans going and it was nice inside. The beertenders were sweet and you can tell they're a good time! Nearly the time we left, they had live performers singing on stage. The walls and counters display art by local artists. LGBTQ + flags are present. You got games available to play over here and community fliers to peruse over there. Wanna buy some jewelry by an Indy artist? Got that too! Overall, the vibe here is cozy, welcoming, friendly, and really feels like a hub for folks to gather over a pint. The community spirit is solid. My seltzer was delish! The friendly bartender suggested an addition of raspberry, so yes indeedy, please! Mmm! My friend liked her beer, but she likes hers icy cold, so she said she would've enjoyed it more if it had been colder. Indeed, beer not withstanding, it was pretty warm inside, and could've done with some airflow. At a point someone opened the front door. We knew from parking in the back, that there was no entrance/exit there for a breezeway. If you do park in the lot behind, you'll need to walk around the corner. If you can get it, there's street parking. Overall, I enjoyed my night at Strum! It's the kind of place you're sure to meet some folks, chat a bit, drink a bit, and enjoy live music!
