Bathrooms were very busy but mostly clean. The snacks and drinks are well stocked with roller meats, lots of coffee options and plenty of sweet/salty for the rest of your road trip. Very easy access to and from the highway. The gas pump area has a very high cover, so you and your RV should be okay. [Review 14378 overall, 1703 of 2020, number 745 in South Carolina.]

The woman who came out of the stall I went into must've been the manager but she came out of the stall with a full soda and just said excuse me. The stall she was in had a trash can that was full and overflowing and the piece on top had brown on it like someone wiped their nasty butt and left it. It smelled like feet and I was so disgusted. I went to politely inform someone on staff and then realized who I had seen in the bathroom. She was talking to an employee who seemed to have just clocked in and was cussing up a storm during their briefing while I (and other customers) were standing right in front of them. They wouldn't even look up, so I said "excuse me, the women's bathroom could use a little attention" and the manager just said she knew and the other employee attempted to apologize for cussing so much. Horrible experience as a customer, very unprofessional staff.

I want to start by saying me and my friends always frequent this location since it's by our home,…read morebut what I saw today was nothing more than unpleasant and unprofessional.. I went in as usual and grabbed some drinks the older white lady on the phone was seemingly a little hostile towards a young black gentleman who was filling his cup up, I want to state now that he had outside work clothing on and obviously looked severely dehydrated. And, it's blistering hot outside. The older women with grey hair behind the counter shouted at him to pay for a refill and then she went away to do other work duties while still being on the phone, the only reason I know she was on the phone was because it was on speaker and was obnoxiously loud... Me and my friends were stunned and the atmosphere was a bit awkward after that. We headed to checkout and the lady was on the phone with what I assume was the police? Again, phone still on speaker volume and loud. Complaining about how some black guys came in and stole drinks and wanted them to quote "go get them" since she had the license plates. And when she heard that she had to fill out a report she said "So people are just allowed to steal products from stores now and get away with it?" Absolutely ridiculous. I highly suggest the management at parker's look into who runs this location because I do love stopping by because of the convenience but what I saw really did put a sour taste in my mouth....

Since Yemassee is a small town and no search results came up for coffee, I decided to pop in at Marathon before heading out. Our visit was very quick, probably a total of 3 minutes. All I wanted was some coffee for the drive back and it was starting to get gloomy. I grabbed one of the bottled Starbucks coffees and went right to the cash. Some of the features of this station is that there is a Subway to the left, inside the station and they also serve TCBY frozen yogurt. They also sell boxed Krispy Kreme donuts. They have quite a few pumps outside and I don't think large trucks can enter here. I think I remember seeing a sign. They seemed to have all the concessions a regular gas station would, but I didn't pay too much attention, since like I mentioned, I was on a mission to get coffee and get back on the road as fast as we could. Service was fine and quick. I got what I needed and managed to load the kids back up before it started to pour buckets. Decent place to get snacks and drinks for the road, since Yemassee is a real small town and it seems that a big portion of the town is closed on Mondays.
