Everyone was very nice and helpful. They answered all questions we had without any hesitation. We would definitely do business with them again in the future. read more

Well, communication is terrible, follow up is horrible, and general business ethics are bad in my opinion. Other than that, awesome!

As someone who hates car dealerships I had zero desire to car shop, but going to Walterboro Ford and working with Dusten, Patrick and the team, they've really changed the game!!! Our experience was the best I've had in over 35 years of car buying. NO PRESSURE, HONEST PRICING and PROFESSIONAL Service! I would recommend them to everyone I know who is looking for a vehicle. Forget 5 stars, this was a 10 Star experience!!! read more

This morning I took my husband's truck to Walterboro Ford to see about an issue with the transmission. My previous visits to this location over the years have not been very positive, but this morning was a complete turnaround, the service advisor Ryan was awesome from the start to finish explaining what they can and what they are unable do at their location, giving me advice and talking in depth with me about options. To say that this was a very positive experience versus my previous visits is an understatement, very grateful I took the chance and went back as every single person at that location was excellent. My experience this morning was great and a nice surprise as generally I don't have very good experiences when I have to take vehicles to dealerships. Thank you Ryan and thank you Walterboro Ford for your honesty and help this morning. read more

Walterboro Ford - 2020 Ford F-150 - Car Dealers Near Me - Walterboro, South Carolina

if I could give negative reviews I would. I drove 3 hours to buy a specific truck that they had. They knew for almost a week I was coming , I was just waiting for it to be out of the service dept and ready to sell. Upon getting there, there were so many red flags to leave. Anything And everything they could lie about they did . what Was supposed to be a good easy purchase was like pulling teeth . Ford customer support/Ford Motor Credit actually advised me to file a complaint with the BBB. It worked on resolving my issue but it's just a shame that the employees there at walterboro ford ruined the experience of purchasing a vehicle. read more

Customer service and management was awful. They wanted to do a credit report before my granddaughter was allowed to look at a car. They were rude and after she refused to do a credit application they asked her to leave. Of course she went to another Ford dealership and had no problem. read more

First and foremost, Nikki Pope is an excellent salesperson. She respected my wishes of not being upsold and was very upfront about what she knew of the vehicle. I flew in from out of state as we found the vehicle on the Carfax website & the dealership picked me up in Charleston. Tim was a great driver and host. But make sure you do your homework. The 3 yr / 3000 mile warranty they offer is useless to us as we would have to drive the car all the way back to SC if there was a problem. How do you drive a car with an issue over 3 states to get it fixed? Their finance guy was more than happy to try and upsell me a couple of warranties that would alleviate the return trip. After I refused those, THEN he filled me in that since this vehicle only has 11,000 miles on it, I still have the factory warranty in place which calculated to be the next 3 years or 49,000 miles. Also, look over the body closely as the basic water spots on the top surface (I assumed from them washing the vehicle for sale pickup) turned out to be much more when I got home and will not come out. They are IN the clearcoat and IN the decals. Not sure if it is hard water damage or something else but I'm not sure I can remove them. I have no recourse on this as the finance guy was VERY adamant that once I drove it off the lot, I assumed ALL issues. If you see spots on your purchase, make them wash it again. To someone who can't cut/polish clearcoat on your own, this will cost you a fortune. Nikki and Tim saved this review from being a 1 out of 5. read more

Great experience with Ryan Lewis at Walterboro Ford today. All things were handled very well with no pressure. Shout out to Kevin as well for pushing the financing as well. Great job guys. read more

My daughter and I stopped at the Walterboro, SC Ford Dealership on the way to the coast a couple weeks ago. The service light was coming on and saying to service immediately in our Bronco Sport. Andy, the service manager, greeted us and swiftly took care of us. He had great customer service skills, was knowledgeable about the issue, and quickly tightened up a loose cable that solved the problem. Our weekend trip was not cut short by our car issues and we were very satisfied with the service. I'd highly recommend the Walterboro Ford dealership. And, they had a fabulous robin's egg blue full size heritage bronco on the lot, and lots of other very nice full size broncos. read more

I took my 2017 Ford Escape to Walterboro Ford in the last month. Engine light was on, otherwise it was running perfect. They informed me that my Crankcase pressure sensor needed replacing and I also needed rear brake pads and rotors. I approved both repairs and paid the $1214.11 repair bill. When I picked it up they emphasized that it was good to go and they'd done a thorough road test on it before giving it back to me. I drove the 50 miles home. When I arrived home the engine was idling very rough at stoplights when my foot was on the brakes - which it was not doing before Walterboro Ford's "repair". I took it to another mechanic for a second opinion. They told me the brakes were not done correctly for starters. They also said that only a Ford dealer could fix the rough idle. I took it back to Walterboro Ford and they told me the second time that the brakes WERE done correctly and the vehicle needed a new transmission now. They gave me a copy of the diagnostic which had a green check next to the transmission - supposedly meaning it was fine. I questioned them about it and the service advisor said he didn't know why that green check was there. They charged me another $200 to diagnose the "bad transmission". Nothing about the brakes. The car still idled and shook when my foot was on the brake. Drove it home without approving Walterboro Ford putting in a new transmission to the tune of over $10,000 going by their quote. Before I left they also said if I didn't want to keep my Escape they'd make me an offer on it if I bought a car from them. LOL doesn't begin to describe my reaction to their "offer". Going back to the mechanic I trust they told me I still have to go to a Ford dealer to get the idle fixed. I definitely did not need a new transmission. And they'd be happy to "redo" the brake job correctly as it still wasn't right. Obviously I'm done with Walterboro Ford forever. They totally ripped me off for over $1300 and my car runs worse than when I first brought it to them. read more

Robbie was very informative & helped me find the right vehicle for my personal needs.

Today was our second experience buying a car from Walterboro Ford (and with our favorite salesperson, Mr. White)! My husband and I were on our way back from one of my doctor's appointments and I was really tired, but he suggested we stop and look to see if there was anything that interested us that could replace my favorite old truck. I really wasn't planning on purchasing a car or trading mine in, but my husband was on a mission to put me in a new truck. We found a truck we liked, took a test drive, and I liked it. We were given a very, very fair trade-in value for my car (which was a total mess because I've been traveling and haven't washed or vacuumed it in a month) and I was so grateful for it. We were also given a right-on-the-money price for the truck we were interested in. The finance department hammered everything down and before I knew it, I was leaving with a new truck. Mr. White is a wonderful, personable salesman, and the entire staff was a pleasure to deal with. A gentleman named Jim was so nice, as was the young man in charge of detailing and gassing up the truck before we left. Also, the first salesperson who greeted my husband before he'd asked about Mr. White was so kind and gracious. Everyone we met seemed happy to be there and treated us so well. While we were waiting for the paperwork to go through, Mr. White gave us the history of this family owned dealership and let me say that it made me really happy to be a part of their customer base. My husband used to rely on their service department when he had a Ford and is friendly with the guys in the service department, too. They always gave him excellent service and I look forward to working with them to keep my new truck in tip top shape. This was the second excellent experience we've had at this dealership. We're customers for life. read more

Would not recommend. $1900 later they couldn't put a bolt back in the caliper assembly and caused serious damage to the rotor and about costed me and my guys our lives in the mountains in Virginia. read more

On our way home to Florida from North Carolina, our Ford truck broke down. When I contacted Jeff Ament at Waterboro ford, he could not have been more accommodating. He made sure that our truck was repaired in a timely manner, came in under what he quoted us AND put up with our three rambunctious dogs who waited with us. Thank you! read more

IF I could tell you anything about this dealership it would be NOT to use their service department. They are crooks! Charging 950.00 to fix a truck after having it for 4 months before they ever started to work on it... and 950.00 later we had to have it towed away. To add injury to insult, we tried to pay for the repair with a credit or debit card. The owner would only let us pay via CASH! We had to drive 4 hours one way to pay them with "GREEN paper" as the owner told my daughter-in-law. I tried to tell the owner that my son worked abd we lived 4 hours away. IF we didn't come get the truck by 3.31.22 he was going to start charging storage. My daughter in law and I had to get in the car and drive with 2 children one being 6 weeks and the other just under 2 years old. IF you question anything about your repair they will make you pay cash, he told me lot of people have to drive down abd pay him cash... RUN RUN RUN. read more

We were looking for a new 2015 Ford Mustang. I went to our local dealership close to my home on Friday and test drove one. We sat in the dealership and talked about price and trade in of my Toyota Camry. I let them know I wanted a white mustang and would even accept a red mustang. After back and forth between the salesman and the back office where "OZ" must hide they told me there wasn't any to be found. I had my iPad with me and said Yes there is. So I showed them Walterboro Ford. They said they would get back to me sometime between Monday and Wednesday. HERE IS WHERE IT GETS GOOD! We called Walterboro Ford on Saturday morning and spoke to Sales Manager - Michael Mazell to make sure the car was still available. We told them we had a Toyota Camry and that we were going to take it to CarMax to sell. He said give them a chance to bid on it so we drove up. Michael had OJ Ojehomon take us for a test drive and go over the many features of the 2015 Ford Mustang. We took the car up I-95 and it was awesome. Got back and an offer was waiting for us which we immediately accepted because it was fair pricing for both sides. This was the best experience we have ever had buying a vehicle. Keith Rizer the owner stopped by to meet us and I expressed our happiness about the entire experience. Can't wait to tell the other dealership when they call all about Walterboro Ford and my brand new 2015 Ford Mustang! Lots of dealerships in the Charleston Area but if you want to save some time, a lot of money and leave happy you need to take the short ride to Walterboro Ford. Excellent service and parts department. Went there for tire rotation and grease on my 1974 F-100. Bought a battery for $80 less than a parts store. Best price on the rotation and grease around. Yes, not a typo, 1974 F-100 ! read more

I don't write a lot of reviews. I felt compelled to write this one. My husband and I were driving from Tennessee to Florida today. When to our dismay our Expedition started acting up. We were around Columbia SC. We called several dealers on or near our route. They were either closed or too busy to get us in. We finally called Walterboro Ford and spoke to Jeff (service mngr I think). They were an hour away. Jeff said if we make it they would take care of us. We made it! They took our vehicle right in. Diagnosed it as the ignition coil (my husbands thought) and we were on the road 90 minutes after our arrival. Jeff was very personable. If we lived closer, we would definitely use them. read more
