Please improve the mens washroom, remove construction cones from urinals and repair drains and lavatory faucets.

The event isn't accurately described or represented in their promotion or website. While this is…read morebilled as a place for those looking for vintage, antiques and salvage, it's really nothing more than a village supported street-side craft fair with two food trucks - one on each end of the street. Sparsely populated with some friendly people running their booths, it's not worth travelling more than 10-15 minutes away to visit, because you can get through the whole "fair" in about 20 minutes. Pictures on their website are out of date, and show when they used to be on larger space with a lot more vendors. Not worth the trip unless your driving by the area and need some handmade soap or a fresh baked loaf of bread or coffee cake.

Me and my wife recently visited this place to see what this place was all about. Rest assured, even…read morethough this address says it's in Minooka though it doesn't look like it on a GPS map, it will take you to the right address. You do have to pay $5 per person to enter which I didn't know about until I got there. There's a great array of vendors here too for all enthusiasts as well. We spent nearly two hours here. I will say if you're in the area and have been to the French Hens market in Morris, some of the same vendors are also there too. They do have small food and concessions here too. Overall, great place worth checking out

I'll admit, this place caught me by surprise. I was driving down the highway on a lazy Sunday,…read morecruising along after who knows how many miles on the road, when something caught the corner of my eye. A flea market. I'm always up for a good flea market, so I figured, why not, let's pull in and see what's going on. That's when the surprises started. First one: a $6 parking fee, just to park in a lot that's more stone and dirt than actual pavement. Not exactly what I was expecting, but I figured I'd already made the turn, so I paid up and pulled in. Second surprise: it had been raining. And that stone-and-dirt lot turned into a sandy, muddy mess that glued itself to the bottom and sides of my car. I remember thinking, well, this better be worth it. So, was it? The vendors themselves were ok nothing to complain about there. But here's the thing. I've been to Wolff's Flea Market on Sundays at Allstate Arena, and once you've experienced that, it's hard not to compare. At Allstate, you don't pay a dime to park, and the admission fee is a fraction of what you'd expect. This place just doesn't hold up next to it. Would I go back? Honestly, probably not. But if you happen to be in the neighborhood already, and you're curious, it's worth a quick look. Just don't go too far out of your way for it, and maybe check the weather forecast first.

Came here with a friend and two kids. There was something for all of us! Whether you want toys,…read moretools, electronics, produce, Mexican snacks and candy, jewelry, they have all sorts of stuff. Lots of animals for sale, including chickens, other birds, turtles, and fish, but this wouldn't be the place I'd get a pet (adopt!!) There are some food stalls (we got paletas), and portapotty type bathrooms. The whole setup is on a gravel lot, and the parking lot was a bit washed out by yesterday's rain: some huge puddles. Plan your footwear accordingly! Vendors all prefer smaller bills, so if you can break those $20s from the ATM before you get here, so much the better. Overall, an interesting shopping experience. I found a dress, a charging cable for my cell phone and a miniature chicken mole magnet for less than $40.

I went for a book talk and signing for one of my favorite books and I loved that the area for the event was completely shaded. There was a stage and live band. I wish there were different vendors; many of them just sold random things that you can purchase in Dollar General, but there were some vendors that I liked. I expected there to be a lot more from what I've heard of the Maxwell Street Market, but it was still a nice place to spend an early afternoon. It is right next to the famous Maxwell Street Polish restaurant, so it was nice to have that. I would imagine that parking can be a little bit challenging on a different Sunday, but I got lucky and was able to find a spot and found that I didn't need to pay the meter on Sunday so that was a plus!
