Without all the running, screaming, trampling, and death required by those that wish to pet or touch bison in other locations. You Tube Bison Attacks Yellowstone to understand this reference. Now, Terry's allows feeding, petting and close up photography of their bison. The resort is a ranch and not the Four Seasons, so let's dial down our expectations and recognize the workings of the ranch. There will be dirt, poop, feathers, hair, urine, and unkempt struck and other things gentle folk may find unsavory. We found the ranch charming. We have experienced many close encounters with wild bison and most were less than rewarding, but exciting. Terry removes this. The train creaks, and groans into the herd. Windows open, and your bison friend pop up for food. You can touch them and enjoy close photos/videos. Kids will love this and animal lovers also. Your trip back the platform will provide some ranch insights and views of horse stables. That was our visit. You may also trail ride on horseback and even participate in dude ranching. We feel the ranch offered all it advertised and we will return with the little ones. Keep up the good work Terry and all the support it.

We booked our reservation online, and we got one of the last 2 available sites for our 7 day stay. Upon arrival, the entrance was a tight turn and then there was another RV checking in that was blocking the roadway. We tried to pull off to the side, but you cannot hide a 40 ft motorhome very easily. Check-in was easy and the staff was friendly. We were able to pull straight through the park, across an alley type road, and into the southern portion of the park where our site was located. After getting settled, we discovered that the other section of the park was under construction, so we were glad we chose the southern section. The sites are close, but separated by small rail fences. This was nice to designate each area, especially for those campers who like to spread out to their site limits. During our stay, the park would nearly empty and refill each night. It was a busy park, but we were not bothered by the activity. There were a couple longer term folks too. They offered two laundry rooms, and bath houses in each section. We did not use these amenities. They also sell propane on site and offer a dump station for use if you aren't staying in the park. There was a Hunt Brother's pizza in the building with the office. I spoke to the staff when checking in, and they gave me a menu and told me to call ahead to order. When we decided to give them a try, I attempted to call several times but no one ever answered the phone. I walked up to the office and tracked down someone who took my order and told me 15 minutes for a pizza and some buffalo chicken bites. When I returned to pick them up, no one was there and my food was in a pick up station/warmer. I wanted some blue cheese for dipping the chicken bites so I asked in the office and they gave me some sauce. They billed my credit card on file with the park. When I got back to my RV, I noticed that they had billed a second charge for a $1.00 for the blue cheese. I wished they would have told me that when I asked about it, or better yet, offered it when I made my original order. The pizza was good but had canned mushrooms rather than fresh. The chicken bites tasted good according to my husband. I think this park is one of the better options for this area. Once they get the construction done to upgrade the sites and utilities, it will be even better. I'm not sure I'll get the pizza again, but it was convenient for sure.

The employees were wonderful & extremely helpful, and the park was very clean and well maintained, including extremely clean bathrooms. The park has a lot to offer--a nice clean swimming pool, cute putt-putt golf, a small play area for kids and a convenient shuttle to the Frontier Days Rodeo. There's also a small store on site for forgotten essentials. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it!

I feel like this is the absolute most honest response about this place. To top it off, I would swear that I reserved a pull through with a full hook up which is not what we got. I would look at my reservation but the email only confirms you have one, not what you specifically reserved. You are packed in here tighter than sardines. I mean it's absolutely awful. It's dry. It's dusty. The grass is brown unless you're lucky enough to get a pull through. If you don't believe me, look at the pictures. And no, it doesn't look like the other rv parks are any different. The playground was a tetanus shot waiting to happen. The dog area is about the size of a 5th wheel and the office tells you that is the only place dogs can go to the bathroom. I tried but I couldn't force my dogs from holding it until we got there. They don't enforce quiet hours. They don't have a store even though the sign says otherwise. I don't have an explanation for why there were tents in the mini golf course either. So by now I bet you're wondering why I gave it 2 stars. Welp, that's because the guy who backed trailers in knew what he was doing, the pool area was clean, and the showers were nice. There wasn't a ton of water pressure but they looked like the only thing here that had any effort put into it. Even the women's bathroom was usually out of toilet paper. They also offer a shuttle to frontier days and for the concerts at night. But it's more expensive than the one off 25 and less convenient. I also can't guarantee it will actually start when needed as we heard this morning. But at least they have one.

The wind also blows quite a bit and the blowing sand occasionally blew through the site. They have WiFi, and really good WiFi. There are towers in the campground that must boost the signal. This is the first and only time I have ever been able to complement a campground on their WiFi signal. Great job. The cable is done right. A good mix of sports in with regular programming. Something that many other campgrounds could learn from. We enjoyed our stop in Laramie including a visit to the university campus, several restaurants and brew pubs. The sites were nicely level, with a huge lot available nearby to walk our dogs. These features made our stay comfortable and convenient. However, there were several maintenance issues that need attention. There were no dumpsters located close to our site, which made trash disposal inconvenient. The roads leading into the campground have multiple large potholes, and they seem to get worse each time we visit this area. These potholes can be challenging to navigate, especially for larger RVs. The most concerning issue was that the sewer connection at our site, D-04, was backed up and unusable. We discovered this on the morning of our departure. We called the office to report this issue and got an answering machine stating the office was closed on Sunday, then called the National RJourney office and spoke to someone who said he would send someone to help. No one showed up, so we called the general manager and left a message. He texted back and basically told us to close up our sewer and dump at the campground sewage dump or an empty site nearby. We never actually met with any personnel in person. However, our neighbors told us that previous guests assigned to this same site had experienced and reported the same problem, yet the site is still being assigned without the issue being resolved. This was very frustrating and created an unnecessary inconvenience during our stay. Overall, the campground offers excellent value with level sites, a fair dog-walking area, and attractive discounts. However, the road conditions and unresolved sewer problems significantly impacted our experience. If management addresses these maintenance concerns, this could be an outstanding place to stay. But in no way should the word, "Resort", be associated with this campground with current issues, and being closed on Sundays, in my opinion!
