We stayed at Restway Travel in Cheyenne for five nights during Frontier Days and had a great experience. The employees were wonderful & extremely helpful, and the park was very clean and well maintained, including extremely clean bathrooms. The park has a lot to offer--a nice clean swimming pool, cute putt-putt golf, a small play area for kids and a convenient shuttle to the Frontier Days Rodeo. There's also a small store on site for forgotten essentials. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it! read more

If you read the google reviews, someone makes a comment about the owners waking up one morning and spreading magic beans and *poof* an RV park appears. I feel like this is the absolute most honest response about this place. To top it off, I would swear that I reserved a pull through with a full hook up which is not what we got. I would look at my reservation but the email only confirms you have one, not what you specifically reserved. You are packed in here tighter than sardines. I mean it's absolutely awful. It's dry. It's dusty. The grass is brown unless you're lucky enough to get a pull through. If you don't believe me, look at the pictures. And no, it doesn't look like the other rv parks are any different. The playground was a tetanus shot waiting to happen. The dog area is about the size of a 5th wheel and the office tells you that is the only place dogs can go to the bathroom. I tried but I couldn't force my dogs from holding it until we got there. They don't enforce quiet hours. They don't have a store even though the sign says otherwise. I don't have an explanation for why there were tents in the mini golf course either. So by now I bet you're wondering why I gave it 2 stars. Welp, that's because the guy who backed trailers in knew what he was doing, the pool area was clean, and the showers were nice. There wasn't a ton of water pressure but they looked like the only thing here that had any effort put into it. Even the women's bathroom was usually out of toilet paper. They also offer a shuttle to frontier days and for the concerts at night. But it's more expensive than the one off 25 and less convenient. I also can't guarantee it will actually start when needed as we heard this morning. But at least they have one. read more

Nice family owned rv park and well taken care of. The sites are narrow and fairly close together. I've noticed some older campgrounds are like this, ( maybe it's a problem since newer rvs are getting bigger ). I Would recommend for anyone passing through for over night or even monthly. Easy on an off for I-80 travel. read more

I probably shouldn't have given 5 stars but I really needed a laid back place to rest and this place was perfect. I'll start with the good... When I called I was greeted by a friendly man that was more than willing to give me directions to the park. When I asked if the pool would be open when we arrived; he replied that the pool closes at sunset. I asked what time that was and he just kindly replied when it gets dark the pool is closed. This is unlike all the KOA style parks that close precisely at 8pm or whatever. He apologized in advance for the sand in the pool but explained that the dust storm had blown dirt in the pool. There is a basic 4' fence around the pool with no fancy locks and I doubt they would be terribly upset if you quietly snuck in the pool after sunset. I think our spot was $50 rather than $60- $90 like Colorado. I like the fact that all the spots have green grass rather than dusty old gravel. Laundry, bathrooms & showers are open 24/7. My family enjoyed a free round of pee wee golf before setting up for the evening. The lady at the counter just said the leave the golf clubs at the door when we were done. My wife said that the store had cute cloths in there but I didn't go in. Everything is older and some stuff is funky but it's all neat and clean. I prefer that over new and dirty any day of the week. The place has a comfortable feeling of visiting your parents or grandparents for the weekend. There is no sense of "Johnny LAW" here. The vibe here is more of a be respectful and enjoy yourself. There is a small basic playground for the kids with a real home made teeter totter. The bathrooms & showers were tidy and clean. The sites are set back from the road and you are not near a freeway so it's quite here. Our site was a pull through that accommodated our 50'+ rv & trailer. As for the negative aspects.. If you are expecting perfection and a new facility you will be disappointed. This place has a older hand made look and feel. The speed bumps coming into the park are excessive for RV's. There are no exceptional views around the park. The park is surrounded by residential and a Uhaul. If you are looking for a full blown transient RV park this is not it. There are quite a few full time residents. The full time trailers are newer and don't have a bunch of clutter outside. The couple of full timer's I ran into were courteous and said hello. The showers don't have a bench but do have a shelf and hooks. This is the first real shower I've had in 2 weeks. The showers have full water pressure with a normal sized shower head. The water was able to go as hot as I wanted also. It's strange that this is a luxury while on the road. All in all I would come back and recommend this place to people that want to relax and don't mind a older feel to a park. read more

Overcrowded, loud and will never come back.. the people running it were nice enough and got into our space quickly. We went out to do some site seeing and when we got back they had put in more campers. All wedged in to the point that the caper next to me was so close that my sun awning was an inch from the next camper. At 0130 people came back from some dam concert and proceeded to yell and be obnoxious for the next hour, this went on all 3 nights we stayed. In the morning I went to take a shower not bad other than some moron left empty shot bottles in the shower stall, now that's keeping it classy. I will say this other than the booze bottle the bathrooms were clean, and the pool was well maintained. This and the helpful staff are the only reason it's a 2 and not a 1. read more

This park is clean and quiet in a good location. The staff is really nice and helpful! I like the old time feel. My kids loved the pool and it's clean and well taken care of. The only thing I wish was different is they have some old play ground stuff that is broken and unsafe that they should just dump or replace because it's too tempting for kids to go on. Also they do have a put put corse but it also needs to be updated. Overall I would recommend staying here. read more

We booked a 50 amp full hook up pull through. I was sent an email confirm the reservation. When we got here we were told we had to back in which we try to avoid with the 5th wheel. I wouldn't have booked the reservation if I had known it was back in only. No only was it not a pull through the 30 amp and water hook ups serviced 6 sites at once. It looks like an orgy of power and water all stacked on top of each other. We had to park our truck about 100 feet away because there wasn't room in front of the 5th wheel or to the side. Staff was rude from the start which only compounded the issues. read more

This place was awesome!! Super sweet and helpful family owned business! Love that it's a great price too!! The gentleman helped us with parking our RV.. very informative, Great hot showers, pool, laundry area by the lil store and little park:) Dog friendly!! They do have a mini golf course but get your clubs early because it closes at 4pm I think.. Mayb u can reserve them?? Little bunnies running around on the golf area too:) we missed out on that.. we really enjoyed our stay!! Thank you so much!! read more
