Horrible stay, unfortunately. While the location is definitely optimal, and I have stated many neighboring small hotels on that street, and in the nearby streets, I expected a much higher standard for the price.
While the prices of surrounding hotels are not significantly higher, the quality of this hotel is significantly lower.
My room, 311, should be avoided at all costs.
The room was so tiny that the small bed, slightly larger than a twin, but not quite a full, was inches away the room door when it opened. From sitting on the bed, the bathroom door was less than an arms length away.
Additionally, the room was rather dark and the window opened onto the side of another building.
I immediately requested to be moved to another room, but was told they were sold out and that it was impossible.
I would happily have paid more money for a more comfortable room, had I known how awful this one would be. Although I understand that rooms in this part of Paris are particularly small, this one was little more than a glorified walk-in closet.
Perhaps they have other rooms which are better, but I was not able to experience those.
There are many beautiful, small hotels adjacent to this one, and therefore I would say that you should avoid this one unless it's at a significant discount.
I will say that it was clean. That was a plus. read more
