I regret to say that my recent stay at Hotel Castex was marred by an absolutely appalling incident. As a guest who values safety and respect, I never imagined I would become a victim of physical assault during what was supposed to be a relaxing getaway.
The incident started around 9:45 am on June 14th 2024, with a conversation about checking out of the hotel happened. Your staff member quickly became aggressive, and tried to trap me inside the hotel by manually closing the sliding doors to lock me inside. Fearing for my safety, I escaped onto the street, while your staff member followed me and grabbed my suitcase while I pleaded and cried for him to stop. These actions resulted in me falling to the pavement. I have scratches and small bruises on my arm from the fall.
this included pushing and shoving, all while hurling insults and accusations. I have paid for the balance of the hotel room but I am concerned about the well-being of other guests at your hotel while he in a staff member. I believe it is important for you to be aware of this incident and to take appropriate action to address the behavior of the staff member involved.
It is unfathomable that a hospitality establishment, which prides itself on customer service, could allow such behavior from its management. I felt violated, disrespected, and utterly unsafe during my stay. This experience has left me traumatized and reluctant to ever return or recommend this hotel to anyone. read more
