The hype and reviews are real. Dr. Aziz is a doctor and a healer at heart, he cares about his patients. Many so-called hypnotists can be charismatic charlatans, but Dr.Aziz sets you up for success independently with his practice after the sessions which sets him apart from the rest. He's professional, efficient and also generous with his time and techniques- that sets him apart from the rest in the industry and now that the power of hypnosis has become popular online. You will own your mp3/sessions- this is empowering and important. You have to trust his process. Even if you are skeptical, it will be effective. His method is holistic, scientific and practical. Quitting smoking was never easier when I used his services years ago. My closest friend and family were surprised too! The truth is for any issue being healed through hypnosis, you may have to re-enforce it at times it for it to be lifelong fix/progress. Life happens and there may be set backs, but since you will own the sessions, because you do get what you paid for and he's not a con-artist like many in the field - it's a lifetime gift! read more

Quitting smoking could not have been easier. No joke, it took less than an hour and I have zero desire to smoke. I have no idea how or why that worked, but it did, and it's stunning. My situation was a little bit different. I was not a full-time smoker, which I think is an important detail for anyone thinking their situation is unique. I've been a social smoker for years. If I've had a few drinks and someone around me was smoking, I've always given myself permission to smoke along with them. I'd tell myself I wouldn't do it again, but it was always a different story when in the situation. I walked away from hypnotherapy thinking that there was no way that it worked because I honestly didn't feel like it did anything at all, but something definitely happened and I no longer smoke. If you're considering this at all, I highly recommend it. Dr. Kazi is a literal life saver. read more

I came to Dr Anam for some anxiety that had developed after I had moved to NYC and through hypnosis he not only cleared that up but also fundamentally healed my life as well. Dr. Anam opened my eyes to the world and possibilities of hypnosis and was able to clear those old blockers that held me back in just a few sessions, allowing me to live in a way that I used to only be able to dream of. Dr. Anam was incredibly patient, supportive, caring and non-judgmental the entire time. He truly cares about the patient's success and empowers them to get on with their lives and tap into their own power by giving them the tools of self-hypnosis. During my time with him, he even took the time to think of me and send affirmations that I would find useful after sessions on his off- hours. If you have anything hindering the quality of your life and are considering using hypnosis to fix it, just do it. Hypnosis is really about reprogramming the subconscious mind for it to do whatever you want, and who doesn't want the full power of their unconscious working for them instead of against them? :) And you honestly won't find a better hypnotherapist than Dr. Anam. read more

I was very excited about a recent promotion in my job, but when I found out that I would be required to do presentations and speeches--I almost didn't want to accept it because just thinking about making a speech made me feel sick and panicked! I knew I had to take action before it was too late. I luckily found Dr. Anam and set an appointment. I was just slightly skeptical because I didn't know what to expect, but after meeting Dr. Anam, and seeing his nice office, I was very impressed. He is totally professional with a warm, compassionate demeanor--I felt totally at ease speaking with him. We had a few sessions and now I have conquered my fear of public speaking! As an extra side benefit of seeing Dr. Anam--I have found that on a day-to-day basis, I am much less anxious, nervous, and feel much more confident in dealing with people. This in itself was worth going to him! I highly recommend seeing him, it is indeed worth a visit. read more

I wanted to write an update but never came about it. So it goes now.. I'm back to my bad eating habits. I'm constantly on some kind new fad diet. The hypnotherapy was helping while I was in it. Since I stopped, I am the same way in terms of my eating as before the hypnosis sessions. read more

I'm still amazed seven months later, this was far better than I hoped for. My anxiety has disappeared, after visiting Dr. Anam due to childhood trauma/neglect/abuse. Excellent service, and lasting outcome. Highly recommended. I went to Dr. Anam after the idea was suggested by a friend, neither of us had tried this before, and I was sceptical. I'm the sort of person who doesn't believe in this kind of thing. I told Dr. Anam I was sceptical in our first appointment, and he told me it did not matter, that he would not be talking to the conscious part of my mind. The response was a wonderful surprise, and I soon found out that despite my scepticism I was susceptible to Dr. Anam's technique. After realising I was susceptible, I was worried my personality would change afterwards. It did not, I still feel very much myself, but my anxiety has hugely diminished, and I now function much better in social situations. I find it so much easier to relax, and Dr. Anam taught me some useful tools to calm myself and diminish anxiety. They still work after half a year, but are needed much less often. Dr. Anam was wonderful to deal with, everything was easy and he was able to put my mind at rest, answer all my questions etc. I'm a person who has been struggling emotionally and psychologically for years. I have been in therapy with several psychologists. I feel therapy has helped me a lot with understanding myself, but I always felt it was bad at giving me the tools I needed to change. I really feel that Dr. Anam and hypnotherapy has done that for me. I think I still have work to do, but I am now a calmer and more capable person that will be better able to move on. I would highly recommend Dr. Anam and hypnotherapy. I was completely sceptical and yet it worked worked, and surpassed my expectations. Dr. Anam is quietly charming, easy to talk to, excellent at explaining the process, able and eager to adapt to things I did or did not like and completely able to put me at ease. I couldn't have asked for more. The sliding scale of payments was also excellent, and Dr. Anam was happy for me to pay what I wished. I left his office after each session feeling reborn. Dr Anam, my sincerest thanks. read more

I came to Dr. Anam to stop drinking so much. I'm not an alcoholic, but tend to over drink at social gatherings. I also get anxiety around people I don't know at social gatherings and this causes me to drink more so I can relax. Dr. Anam was great from the beginning. I felt very comfortable with him and trusted him 100%. I had 3 sessions, all of which were incredibly beneficial. I was drinking everyday and after the first session I cut down drastically, only having two drinks one night a week. I would highly recommend Dr. Anam and will be telling my friends and family about him! read more

Kazi is amazing! He has a very warm and welcoming presence. It is clear that really cares about his patients and truly wants them to succeed through hypnosis. Semi-skeptical that Dr. Kazi Anam could help with my occasional anxiety symptoms, I trusted the 5-Star Yelp reviews and gave him a try. In 3 sessions, he has helped me greatly in feeling more relaxed, calm, and comfortable in any situation. Explaining that anxiety comes from a chemical reaction of adrenaline in the brain, we worked on a technique to subconsciously release endorphins, serotonin, and dopamine instead. Worked like a charm! I highly recommend him to anyone who truly wants to remedy whatever they've been "putting up with". Note: he has a very fair pricing structure, so don't let $ stop you from giving him a try and bettering your daily life! read more

Dr. Anam helped me - with a single session - quit a 30 year smoking habit. I had tried to quit many many many times...but I was only able to completely kick the habit after going to him. He is straight-forward, knowledgeable, and very competent. I shopped around before picking him, based on reviews and a conversation we had on the phone (during which he did not try to sell his services or brag at all, like the others did) and I am so very pleased to say I have been a non-smoker for months now! read more

I am now 6 months cigarette free thanks to Dr.Anam and can confidently recommend him to anyone looking for help with any self-improvement program. I have tried hypnosis to quit smoking in the past with other practitioners but Dr.Anam was particularly adept at helping me relax and respond to positive suggestion. Dr.Anam's support doesn't stop with the 1 hour booked session. He genuinely wants to help each of his patients and followed up with me a number of times to see how i was getting on and suggested a number of ways in which I could alleviate some of the anxiety experienced when first giving up. read more

I was a smoker for 13 years & after 1 session I never smoked again!!! Dr. Kazi Anam makes each session personalized after an evaluation and consultation. He is very honest and informative about all that you'll experience or possibly could. Clearly this is a great passion of his (to help smokers quit), giving you a great deal of tools should you need additional help with cravings or temptation should it arise - in my case I didn't experience this at all! It was all gone after my session! And he's checks in for progress reports making sure you're still doing alright and on the right path! My experience was the first for hypnosis, and after many other failed attempts - I truly wish I had discovered Dr. Kazi much sooner! read more

Dr. Kazi Anam is an exceptional hypnosis practitioner. I had been to several of the top hypnotists and Specialist doctors in New York and, invariably, I felt worse instead of better after time spent with each of them. At the time that I began working with Dr. Kazi Anam, I was experiencing severe chronic pain every day along with serious side effects from prescribed medications which included insomnia, weight gain, severe gastritis, and stomach inflammation. When I first reached out to Dr. Anam, I was feeling hopeless. But, to my delight and astonishment, Dr. Anam restored my hope from our first session As well, I experienced significant improvement in my pain level, my sense of well-being and my optimism that I would make a full and complete recovery. Dr. Kazi Anam is certified pharmacist who realized that his calling was to help people to heal naturally. He learned his current craft as a Hypnotist from the best and added his own signature. He is kind, thoughtful, smart, encouraging and very discerning and thoughtful about the suggestions he gives to his clients during the session. He partners with me to create sessions which he tapes and emails me mp3s of on the same day as my sessions, his sessions are entirely positive, powerful and individualized just for me. Dr. Anam's expertise in this field is bar none and his wisdom, listening skills, supportive personality and genuine concern for his clients is very special. His heart is very empathetic. His approach is very sensible, practical, easy to understand, easy to apply independently and very effective. Dr. Anam holds his sessions in a very professional office setting in the Helmsley building in NYC. His reception area offers coffee and tea. During the session, his clients rest easy in a high-end lazy boy chair that is so comfy that the chair alone is worth the price of admission in ways. Dr. Anam spared no expense to offer his clients the most comfortable, higher-end hypnosis session possible. I can't sing Dr. Kazi Anam's praises enough. I highly recommend that anyone who feels stuck, in pain, unhappy, tethered to unhealthy habits, etc. run to secure the services of Dr. Anam. I also recommend him to those who are doing quite well in their lives, but just want to self- actualize or self- improve in some ways. He's the only one you want to work with if you want to transform, transcend, heal and/or improve in any way. Grace, Brooklyn, NY read more
