If I could give less than 1 star I would. I have been going to the CFP since 2009. I started out…read moreseeing Dr. Katz who was cool and worked with me and I actually saw him. 5 years ago for some reason I got swapped over to Herrick and I left the practice this week and still have never seen him.I have degenerative disc disease and have had 5 surgeries. He said I did not qualify for injections or any other invasive treatment for specific reasons. I left and went to another Dr who said that he could help me and he turned out to be a quack in trouble with the DEA so I went back to Herrick to get my medication that I have been on every day for 18 years, I was on 2. still didn't see Herrick but he sent his NP in there and tells me to choose one can't have both which I have been on for 10 plus years. so I did and with my body and brain being so used to it, of course it made me very sick with severe high bp and I am a 35 year Type 1 diabetic on a pump. So I called and told him and he said we can talk about it on your follow up NEXT MONTH. They know they are the only pain Drs around here and they use that against you. He got mad that I tried to go somewhere else and find some kind of help, so he punished me. He doesn't care about anything but money and treats you like a drug addict if you tell him, the pain Dr that you are in pain. I would strongly recommend anyone in this practice over Herrick because he is one petty individual to do someone that way who has been going there for 16 years. In other words run from him!!! My primary Dr was kind enough to help me, when he who is the pain Dr would not!!

I have been a patient of Dr. Herrick for over 20 years now. He has always been amazing with my…read morescoliosis back pain, even when I was pregnant with my 2 children in 2004 and 2007. He helped orchestrate the spinal with the anesthesiologists at the hospital for my C-section. He has always been very caring and compassionate each time I see him. I wouldn't see anyone else for this pain I deal with every day. His nursing staff is incredible too and always willing to help me.

Dr. Janush is probably the worst doctor I have ever seen. She will spend two hours in an exam room…read moretalking to the patient for 20 minutes and spending the rest of the time doing mostly dictation to her assistant. She will order TONS of unnecessary tests (bloodwork to check every vitamin in your body in the world)...to the tune of over $800. She was supposed to be my doctor to manage my pain management only. However, she wanted to try and be my doctor for my broken back, broken wrist, and my general practitioner as well. She got very defensive and ugly when I told her I didn't need her trying to come up with treatments for my back and wrist...I already had Ortho and neurosurgeon specialists for that. Final straw- she sent me for over $800 worth of vitamin bloodwork and then I received a letter in the mail 2 days later before I even had my results saying she was no longer going to be my doctor. I demanded a refund for the bloodwork tests that I had paid out of pocket due to her ordering them and no other pain mgmt doctor needing them. Her office refused and told me to get the money from the lab. The lab had done their job- fulfilled the order! It was Dr. Janush's responsibility to reimburse me for money spent knowing that she was going to cancel me as a patient. Getting my meds was never a problem as I seldom used them so she had no reason to ever deny them from me. Not letting her treat me for things that were not her specialty was an ongoing problem with us. She wanted to be doctor over EVERYTHING. I later found out lots of other patients were complaining about the same thing with her---pushing to do additional medical procedures on people when they had specialists already treating those conditions.
