She assured me he could and I was going to the right place. I mentioned my issue while checking in and the receptionist again assured me that the podiatrist would be able to help me. Once I saw the podiatrist, he quickly told me he didn't deal with my issue then charged me more than $260 for doing nothing more than saying, "I don't do that." I wonder what he would have charged me if he actually did something? This has taught me an expensive lesson about podiatrists and I don't think I will make an appointment with one for a long, long, long time.

Why is it medical clinics and the like, considered one of the higher professions, are the singularly least professional? If you came to my office for a scheduled appointment - one I might add I expected you to pay well for - and I kept you waiting over an hour, I would expect you to be upset. I would fall over myself in apology. Dr. Vaughn's attitude? Not so much as an "I'm sorry we so badly screwed up the schedule today." I understand doctors cannot always foresee what their daily schedule will actually hold, but that would indicate a need to relax their scheduling, not my schedule. Needless to say, I'm looking for another podiatrist in Montgomery.

We scheduled in-grown toe nail surgery (for one toe - needing two). When I arrived, I was very anxious as my blood pressure showed. I had heard many stories about the surgery. The staff was great! I explained my nervousness. When the nurse, Leslie, and Dr. Christie entered the room, I'm sure my blood pressure peaked again. Dr. Christie explained the procedure. When the doctor was getting ready to numb my toe, Leslie asked if I wanted to hold her hand. I said "YES"! My mom held my hand when we went to the doctor for shots. I felt so much better. What compassion! Dr. Christie and Leslie talked me through the procedure. The follow-up instructions were perfect. I encourage you to purchase their post-op kits. Everything you need to heal! I plan to have the toe nail surgery on the other toe once this one heals completely. If you need a good podiatrist with an excellent staff to help you heal, call them. I never signed a financial agreement or a Card-on-File authorization allowing them to store my payment data. They rely on a vague automated text message that says a fee "might" apply, without ever disclosing the actual dollar amount, and use that as an excuse to run your card when you aren't there. Absolutely shady business practices. Do not give this clinic your credit card information!
