I'd seen a number of other therapists and had minimal success. Luke Chau was a revelation. I didn't have to spend hours re-living the event (that caused the fear) over and over. I elaborated on my issue to the intake coordinator, she gave me a suggestibility test which determined approximately how many sessions were needed to address my fear, then Luke wrote up a treatment plan covering all aspects of the solution. He was also keenly able to identify areas that I wasn't even aware of. I wasn't sure how a virtual online appointment would work with hypnosis since Luke is in Toronto and I'm in BC but it was fantastic. I think even better in some ways had I needed to fight through traffic to get to his office. I was already in a fairly relaxed state of mind since I was casually going about my daily tasks in the house. At the scheduled time, I connected easily to their platform, got comfortable on the couch and chatted with Luke for a few minutes before the session began. It was incredibly relaxing. I became interested in it after doing a lot of research on the manifestation of trauma in the brain and the body, and I felt like the principles behind hypnotherapy was supported by the modern day science. My experience with Michael Nolan *Disclaimer*: I'm trying to be as transparent as possible, but it's entirely possible that your experience will be completely different than mine. We spent the first hour talking about what I was trying to work on, which was my relationship with my parents. Michael has a very calming presence. We talked about the role of my feelings, the different neurological pathways that impact the way I feel, and how those pathways are shaped by events in early development. It was by far the most helpful one hour lecture on neuroscience I've ever had. Michael combines science with spirituality in a way that completes the picture. In the second hour, I was put into a relaxed state. I usually have trouble relaxing anywhere that's not my bed but I found myself able to relax fully here. We worked on changing my feelings around negative events. Afterwards, we discussed what I felt and Michael gave me recommendations on resources to check out. After the treatment, I remained in a state of blissful relaxation for about a day. However, even when the relaxed state was no longer there and I started feeling the negative feelings again, I was able to recognize the feeling and understand why it was there, which was highly valuable for me. My advice for getting the most out of the experience Everyone's journey to healing is different. As great as the experience was, I don't think you should go into it with the expectation that it is a miracle drug which will solve all your problems but rather think of it as a puzzle piece which helps you gain a better understanding of yourself. I would never recommend this program. Jason is only interested in taking your money and not your well-being. I called to change an appointment and was told he "couldn't fill that spot now", even though it was 24 hours prior which shows he's all about the money. The program was so bad I didn't even finish my 8 sessions because it was just so repetitive that I was learning nothing nor getting any affect from his hypnosis.

Had she given me instructions beforehand, then the onus is on me--the client... but it's not my fault she is not as effective as she claims (I watch Youtube hypnosis videos that are effective and meditate regularly). When Georgina told me I am out of flow with God and that I must have huge issues, it was ironic. Although I struggle with career and love, I recently have built momentum in those areas.. not to mention that I have an extremely fulfilling life full of travel, beauty, wealth and deep connection to others. Just because I struggle in some areas does not give any practitioner--no matter their status--the right to put me down (beyond constructive criticism). As luck would have it, a friend of mine in the US worked with Georgina years ago and said the mentorship ended because Georgina made constant backhanded remarks.
