I became interested in it after doing a lot of research on the manifestation of trauma in the brain and the body, and I felt like the principles behind hypnotherapy was supported by the modern day science. My experience with Michael Nolan *Disclaimer*: I'm trying to be as transparent as possible, but it's entirely possible that your experience will be completely different than mine. We spent the first hour talking about what I was trying to work on, which was my relationship with my parents. Michael has a very calming presence. We talked about the role of my feelings, the different neurological pathways that impact the way I feel, and how those pathways are shaped by events in early development. It was by far the most helpful one hour lecture on neuroscience I've ever had. Michael combines science with spirituality in a way that completes the picture. In the second hour, I was put into a relaxed state. I usually have trouble relaxing anywhere that's not my bed but I found myself able to relax fully here. We worked on changing my feelings around negative events. Afterwards, we discussed what I felt and Michael gave me recommendations on resources to check out. After the treatment, I remained in a state of blissful relaxation for about a day. However, even when the relaxed state was no longer there and I started feeling the negative feelings again, I was able to recognize the feeling and understand why it was there, which was highly valuable for me. My advice for getting the most out of the experience Everyone's journey to healing is different. As great as the experience was, I don't think you should go into it with the expectation that it is a miracle drug which will solve all your problems but rather think of it as a puzzle piece which helps you gain a better understanding of yourself. In addition, try to be as vulnerable and honest as possible about what you're trying to heal from.

What I like about the experience is that it gave me a chance to PROCESS the issue that I came to work on before we did the hypnotherapy. Andrew is an excellent listener, and he provides constructive feedback to really help me clearly identify and understand my problem and how to solve it. Andrew is professional. He provides a digital recording of the session that I added to my iPod so I can listen to it over and over - extremely helpful. Andrew is so good that the effects of the session last for a long time. He has 4 tapes that you listen to over and over for 6 weeks and in your hypnotherapy session all he does is play the same tape that you have been listening to. Don't waste your money. I would never recommend this program. Jason is only interested in taking your money and not your well-being. I called to change an appointment and was told he "couldn't fill that spot now", even though it was 24 hours prior which shows he's all about the money. The program was so bad I didn't even finish my 8 sessions because it was just so repetitive that I was learning nothing nor getting any affect from his hypnosis.

Jason is a kind and compassionate professional who guided me into a state of deep relaxation / hypnosis, and now that I have experienced this new level of 'calm', I am able to achieve this state through self-directed exercises. While I did not come to the Center for support around anxiety/depression, I found that it was a happy side-effect that my mental state is so much improved that I no longer require anti-depressant medications. It is important to come to the program ready to fully participate with a positive mindset. Jason will call you out on your 'bulls**t' if you're making excuses and are not fully engaged. I expect you get out of the program what you are willing to put into it. I love the taped sessions, and Jason's sessions equally. Its great to have the tapes to use at home whenever you want. Not to mention the program is guaranteed - Jason will meet with you monthly at no charge, forever, if you need it to reach or maintain your goals after the program is finished. Hardly a money grab, as was suggested by Lindamarie P (Parsons)? in her review. Definitely ignore that review! She was clearly not committed to the program and missed out on an opportunity. During our next session for the PLR, Georgina wasn't able to hypnotize me, and she blamed me the client for having blocks (very plausible) but then proceeded to eviscerate every aspect of my life. Had she given me instructions beforehand, then the onus is on me--the client... but it's not my fault she is not as effective as she claims (I watch Youtube hypnosis videos that are effective and meditate regularly). When Georgina told me I am out of flow with God and that I must have huge issues, it was ironic. Although I struggle with career and love, I recently have built momentum in those areas.. not to mention that I have an extremely fulfilling life full of travel, beauty, wealth and deep connection to others. Just because I struggle in some areas does not give any practitioner--no matter their status--the right to put me down (beyond constructive criticism). As luck would have it, a friend of mine in the US worked with Georgina years ago and said the mentorship ended because Georgina made constant backhanded remarks. Despite best selling author with a CBC documentary, Georgina has a sadistic side that seems to only come out with a select few. The things, she is working in the realm of God and angels and must know that she is accountable when she transitions for every client and mentee. As the saying goes: "Be careful who you stand on, on your way up, as you will meet them on the way down."
