I freaked out today and screamed and slammed my doors.then I said fuck you to the head psychiatrist after he told me that I wanted everything that ****** did to me. And asked me if we were in a sadist machinist relationship. I Got so upset and yelled at him and said I was raped by him. And abused and confined. I suffered concussions broken nose and may other things. He then went on and on about how there had to be a reason I wanted to stay and that I liked it. He then told me that I dont have ptsd or anything else i just have a behavioral problem. I told him he shouldn't even be a psyciatrist and that i was going to go home and kill myself and he said okay and discharged me. . Also this man met with me for no more then 15 minutes. He isn't even my psychiatrist. I do not recommend this disrespectful man to anyone. Especially those suffering with PTSD, stockholm syndrome, or depression. Very traumatic experience. He is horrible.

If…read moreyou've ever had a nerve conduction study, you're probably cringing at the thought of having to have TWO of them done. But hang with me. The first time I saw Dr. Czyrny was before I had a spinal fusion surgery. My orthopedic surgeon sent me here prior to cutting into me. I didn't know what to expect and really didn't do any homework ahead of time. My ortho told me that I'd feel some "tingling" and some "slight shocking" feelings, but that was it. It honestly didn't sound too bad. I've got a few tattoos, so needles don't exactly scare me. I wish I could tell you more about that initial appointment, but I really don't remember that much about it. It was in 2015. Nothing really stands out. After a car accident in 2017, my shoulder specialist sent me to see Dr. Czyrny for a nerve conduction study because I was complaining of some shoulder pain that sounded a lot like a torn rotator cuff. He did some X-rays, an MRI, and then felt the nerve conduction study was important. I knew I had been before, but had forgotten what kind of adventure I was in for, so I did some homework this time. Holy crap! To say this scared the pants off me is an understatement! I watched videos and read reviews that had me so scared that I was ready to call the whole thing off. However, the morning of my appointment, I found my biggest & brightest pair of big girl undies and went into that appointment expecting a horrifying experience, but knowing I'd live to tell about it. As I sat in the waiting room, a calm feeling came over me when I started to think logically. This nerve conduction study was something I had done before. This procedure didn't stand out in my mind in any way. It didn't stand out as being awful or as being incredibly painful. It didn't stand out as being anything. That made me realize that it probably wasn't going to be so bad. When my name was called and I went back to the procedure room, Dr. Czyrny eased my fears pretty instantly. He didn't necessarily recognize my face, but he did know my name and he knew he had done the study on me before. He asked me if I had any questions, and I told him I didn't really remember the first experience. He said, "Well, that means either it isn't as bad as people say it is or maybe I am actually skilled at this after all!" We both chuckled at his joke, and he had me sit on the table while he began with the needles. I felt literally almost nothing. Remember when you were a kid in the '70s and you'd shuffle your socked feet across the shag carpet? Then you'd go find your little brother and touch him, both of you screaming for just a second during that quick electric shock? No? Was that just me? Well, this was less than that. Dr. Czyrny really is skilled at what he does, and while he had to go up and down both arms, I had no problems sitting like a champ for the procedure. I didn't need my big girl undies after all. I could most definitely have done just fine with little girl undies. Certainly no need for granny panties! So if you're having a nerve conduction study and you're scared out of your wits, I'm not going to guarantee that the procedure won't hurt at all. But I will tell you that if you have that study done with Dr. Czyrny, it'll be a breeze! (Still, you should probably wear some underwear.)

She is not above intimidating her patients, telling them repeatedly that she is "very angry" with them, and generally bullying them by speaking over them, louder and louder, until the poor patient capitulates, is her modus operendi. I would run the other way if offered an appointment with this psychiatrist. I began to dread days when I had an appointment with her. I came to believe that if she were the last therapist of any stripe in the universe, that I'd be better off talking to a soup can. In fact, my mood brightened as soon as I saw the last of her.

I have interacted with 2 of the Psychiatrists in this practice in that capacity; Dr Ghosh and Dr. Tan. Both of these Doctors take the necessary time to understand the issues surrounding their patients needs and show a penchant to avoid over prescribing potentially unnecessary medicines. Most importantly however that I noted is most Psychiatrists I've ever interacted with just focus on the maintenance of a patients' mental health, both of these practitioners have shown their willingness to create a road map of recovery that actively looks to see their patient overcome their mental health challenges. There is a stigma in our culture about mental health issues. Considering 36% of the US population reported some level of incidence of Anxiety or Depression related disorders (i.e just over 1/3 of our population) it seems silly that this stigma even still exists. With practitioners like these it makes it easier to cope with the challenges of mental illness.

I love my Doctor SO much, if she were to leave, I would follow her. Everytime I go to West Oak, the staff treat me so kindly and are extremely friendly. I never feel uncomfortable or like I don't matter. Dr. Dawood is the nicest Doctor I have ever had, and believe me, I have had some real jerks. They have a TV that is USUALLY showing Beauty and the Beast, though I have seen Toy Story on there before (can you tell I see my Doctor a lot?), and they have a play area for kids, so a great place for families. I would recommend West Oak to anyone who needs a Doctor!

ive been seeing a provider here for meds for the last year and just keep getting frustrated in…read moredifferent ways. i get lectured, i get fined, forgotten entirely when i am late for work, i get over charged, and then when i call to talk to a person i wait 20 minutes on the line and then get sent to voicemail. as soon as i can i am finding another doctor. the providers here act like they do not care about you and then lecture you about your life and treatment like you're an idiot. and then they send you to voicemail after waiting.

Both had been pretty unwillingly scheduled at 9 am! No warning, no nothing, just my NP (not a doctor) giving me a call saying I've been terminated from the practice, after scheduling an appointment with the front office 20 minutes prior. As someone with a disorder such as mine, I was able to find a new office and a new doctor, with no referral within the hour, so I guess it was no big deal for me? What does that tell you about Williamsville Psychiatry though. Do they care about their patients and their progress? Or are they more concerned about the business they lose that given day when a patient misses and needs to reschedule an appointment. I'll leave her name anonymous, but as for my NP (again, not a doctor), she may be the most stale, plain, and honestly inhospitable worker I've come across in the medical field. It just kind of feels like a slap in the face too when I drop lump sums of money coming here, just to have my "doctor" (NP) rush all of my appointments. She gives me the vibe that she just plays candy crush or something in between all of her patients. I'd give zero stars, but 1 star is okay, only because the aloof NP in question was pretty hot.
