First I have l Ioved my Hyperion water softner unit since I washed my hands for the 1st time. (That was never an issue. My issue was re~ordering my free soaps which Hyperion has more than resolved) My skin has gotten so soft and honestly I use half the lotion I used to have to apply to my skin more than a few times a day! My hair has even gotten healthier and Grown since I purchased my Hyperion water softner unit almost a year to date. But the service I received after writing my 1st review is beyond exceptional. The Owner of Hyperion himself Dan, sent me a text message & asked if he could call me! Of course I said yes, and after the phone call I can honestly say he's probably one of the nicest men I have ever talked to. To have an owner personally reach out is something that has never happened in my life! And Alvaro ( an employee who also reached out) offering his assistance even sent me a text message explaining how to get to my Yelp reviews so I could update my review & yes very embarrassingly I needed it. The way employees conduct themselves really reflects how the Owner treats them & Dan must really be great to work for. ( I would do just about do anything to work for) Their system and service is the best on the market in my opinion. I spent weeks trying to schedule a visit because: -- Whenever I left a voicemail, no one called back. -- When I would call, I would be waiting for the call to be picked up for over 10 minutes, making it hard to do so during work breaks. -- When I reached someone over the phone, she asked me to wait even more. -- When I couldn't she said she would call me back, and never did. -- When I called and managed to reach her, she stated that she left voicemails. Hyperion has sent my household 4 postcards claiming that we have a 'parcel on hold'. We aren't their customers, did not ask for the marketing, and their brand is not named anywhere on the postcard. This type of marketing manipulates people into feeling urgency that they missed something they paid for. It's unethical at best. It's also illegal as they did not include their company name. When I called to inquire about the 'parcel' they let me know that they send those out so we'll schedule a water test with them. The person who answered the phone was extremely dismissive when I mentioned that in 2025 this type of marketing is teaching us all not to trust each other and is a problem. George visited my house and performed his sales presentation. I was already in the market for a system and I recently had another company at my home about 1 week prior. My only issue, and I told George, is that I felt their marketing approach through having mailing cards stating people have packages waiting on them was quite deceitful. Fast forward, I had the system installed by Shane and it was obvious this was nowhere near his first install. I was a little let down when Shane could not connect the reverse osmosis to my refrigerator water input since the line did not run from the sink. I did notice a few things that I did want adjusted after the install that I did not notice immediately. They were very minor adjustments, so I had a conversation with Armando and he organized to have Shane return. Shane returned to my house and made the adjustments I requested with no delay. I was quite impressed and his attitude was fantastic. I say that because I know some technicians conduct adjustments with a chip on their shoulder. He was fantastic throughout his time at my house. First, they sent a postcard about a parcel. Next, they called at my work number and offered a $25 gift card if a salesperson came to my home to give me a demonstration. I agreed. A salesperson came by and convinced me that I need a system. However, they didn't convince me that their $7k system is the right one to get. They never gave me the $25 gift card, despite my reminders to the sales guy at my house and during his follow-up. Lastly, they added this account for me on Yelp. Not sure how to rate them, so I'm giving them the benefit of the doubt that yesterday was a fluke. They were scheduled to come by at 10:00 AM. Waited all day, gave them a call in the evening. The person who answered said they came by at 10:00, rang the doorbell and left a phone message for me. We were home all day, I was in the garage all morning, our Ring has no record of them and it's extremely sensitive and there is no phone message for us and she verified that they had the correct number. As a result, I have chosen not to avail their services based on the statement that they claimed all these contacts mentioned above. Not sure if they went to the wrong house, called the wrong number or someone is covering for their "visit". I would have given them a 1, but I hope that there was some honest mistake. DO NOT LET THEM IN YOUR HOME!!!!!!!! Chad showed up randomly on Sunday at 2 without ever calling to confirm an appointment and I had no idea he was even coming. I had no idea who he was, answered the door and he said i'm here to rest your water. I said okay. I only know his name because of calling in to ask who he was as he would not tell me his name or anything, even after I asked him several times once he become extremely hostile, aggressive, and abrupt. He kept trying to intimidate me in my own house. I was not able to get the whole altercation on video. I feared for my safety and my wife's as he begin to get irate once I said 7,000 dollars is a lot. As Chad, left he threatened me in my house and made a comment as he was leaving "everyone gets what's they got coming for them." He also muddle something else under his breath that was very intimidating and threatening. My wife feared for her safety and was so shaken up by the way he freaked out on us. However, just prior to the appointment time, I received a call telling me that my wife needed to be present in order for the technician to come. By this point, the con was blatant -- they are in the business of pressuring people to buy their products. The free water test is simply the Trojan Horse that gets them in the door -- or not, as in our case, since they refused to perform the test as promised and agreed to. Allow me to mention that I performed water quality analysis for the mining industry around 45 years ago. We didn't have the technology like Hyperion and it was definitely very informative. As a scientist I am aware that water quality varies greatly across the country. Hyperion provided ample evidence of this and they provided appropriate solutions. As a sceptic I sought to broaden my scope to compare the findings from other sources. I did not find compelling reasons to go elsewhere, Hyperion is the most comprehensive customer-first system with expert installation. The installation service was excellent, friendly and thorough. Just bought a home and was contacted by Hyperion Elite Systems to have our water tested. The gentleman, Chad, who came out was very professional, courteous and knowledgeable. He took plenty of time to explain everything and answer all our questions. The promotion they offered was tremendous and enabled us to afford the system. The installation was challenging because of how the water heater was placed in the home, but the installer, Juan, figured out the best way to approach it and proceeded with no fuss.
