I highly recommend Mounting NYC if you are looking to have your TV wall mounted…read more I reached out to several companies for quotes. Will from Mounting NYC responded quickly to my RFQ. He not only gave me the best price quote to wall mount a 65-inch TV (w/cables behind the wall) but also quickly provided me with a Certificate of Coverage (COI) that my building required. When I told him I haven't purchased the TV yet, I was pleasantly surprised that he also sold TVs and gave me a great price for the make & model I wanted. His price was much better than what was offered by the brand name online and brick & mortar stores that I researched. I received regular communications and reminders about the appointment date. Mathias and Alejandro arrived on time and were extremely professional. Throughout the process, they asked me questions on my preferred viewing position to recommend best TV placement. They kept me informed on what they are doing throughout the entire install process (including why they chose where on the wall to drill the holes to run the HDMI and power cables). They were able to complete the installation well within the estimated timeframe. They also cleaned everything up and took away the boxes (something I didn't expect but really appreciate). Thank you Will, Mathias and Alejandro!

I've hired various flat screen TV installers over the years and some were downright horrible not…read moreeven knowing which brackets to use for the various sized flatscreen TV's out there. Others don't know how to find the stud in the wall or which kind of anchors to use etc. FINALLY I found the best in the business. In the last year, I hired Andrey to install 3 TV's in my apartment (one 65" and two 55" sets. I could tell right away when someone is intelligent, knows their business and is honest. I've been around NYC all my life. I then hired him to install safety bars in the two showers in my apartment. AGAIN. Perfect workmanship. More recently I hired Andrey to install six more TV's in my home. Two 65" sets, two 55" sets and two 43' sets. Some articulating, some not. Two are angled down from high up on the walls. PERFECT . In the house, he just installed two heavy mirrors tonight. PERFECT, and in this house, just like in my apartment, he installed 4 safety bath and shower bars like he did in my apartment. I have had a TON of work done on my home and apartment in the last year or so and I have to watch every single thing they do. Fortunately I know how things should be done. Andrey is the FIRST person I hired where I do NOT have to watch over him while he does the job. If you are looking for someone to do ANY kind of TV installation, don't even bother. I saved you the trip. Aside from being honest, intelligent and doing great work, he's a really nice guy. You will NOT be disappointed. He's the BEST.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY…read more One of the most unprofessional experiences I've ever had with a handyman service. I scheduled an appointment specifically to have a TV mounted with the wires concealed. I explained exactly what I needed ahead of time through Yelp Messenger, so there should have been absolutely no confusion about the scope of the job. The day of the appointment, they started texting me asking the same questions I had already answered--all of which were clearly visible in our Yelp conversation. Then they actually showed up without the equipment or materials needed to conceal the wires and told me they couldn't complete the job. So why show up in the first place? If you knew exactly what the job required before the appointment, there is no excuse for arriving completely unprepared to do it. This was a complete waste of my time and an incredibly frustrating experience from start to finish. If you're looking to have a TV professionally mounted and your wires concealed, I would strongly recommend looking elsewhere. Based on my experience, I would never use Tony's Handyman again.
