I found Andrei through a Yelp Project request, and he is easily the single best expert and service…read moreprovider that I've come across through years of using Yelp Projects. I needed to get the hinges replaced on a noisy inside door of my house (the joys of being a new homeowner), and I got several responses from contractors across Yelp. Andrei's stood out both because it was the lowest price quote, and he had the best reviews of any other respondent. It seemed a little too good to be true, but I figured it was worth taking a chance. I'm glad I did, because Andrei IS too good to be true, and yet he exists. Excellent communication, punctual, thorough and completely self-sufficient, the hinge replacement process started off great. Then, after expertly replacing the hinges, and even sanding a bit at the base of the door where it caused the door to stick when opening and closing, he checked to see how the door opened and closed - the door was now blissfully quiet, but still stuck, and he identified the door latch and plate as needing to be adjusted. Above and beyond! The door works perfectly now, it's literally like a new door. And because the door was to my mother-in-law's bedroom, having Andrei provide this superlative service scored me a few points with her (well, at least for a few hours, until she found something else to grumble about). He also left the space clean, and was very courteous from start to finish. I am so thrilled to have found Andrei, because as a new homeowner, I am discovering fun new surprises in the house that I purchased late last year all the time. Now I know just who to turn to when the surprise is too much for my husband or I to handle on our own.

Excellent handyman. Prince of a guy…read more 90 degree weather coming and I am stuck alone in a house with no air conditioning and limited mobility. Marlon came to move an upstairs air conditioner to the first floor but discovered it would not fit in the window. Marlon offered some possible options. No charge for the visit even though I wanted to at least give him some gas money. I ordered a unit from the appliance store but they could not deliver for 2 days so I knew 2 tough, hot days were coming. I let Marlon know the situation and he offered to go pick up the unit at the store and install it the same day instead. I canceled the delivery immediately. As promised, Marlon came and did a quick installation, perfect job. As always the price was very fair. Marlon has done multiple jobs for me in the past including ceiling repair and installing a handrail in a staircase. The work was always outstanding and the price was always right. Trustworthy, honest, quality work, fair prices, great person. Highly recommended!
