Anton and his crew exceeded our hopes and requirements. This was a small project to update a small guest bathroom. The original contract was clear, clean, and Anton abided by all terms. We found the price to be fair and reasonable. Anton connected us with a collaborative designer with whom he works closely (Bonnie Johnson, Spruce & Steel Design). Bonnie added a synergistic fit with Anton, providing him with critical detailed drawings and managed us (the clients) relative to design choices such as tile, lighting, hardware fixtures, etc. What stood out as exceptional was the quality of the crew and the work each of them did. They arrived on time and worked incredibly hard. Impressive was their attention to small details that shaped the outcome. Last, the relationship with Anton (and his crew) was friendly, respectful and professional. Anton in particular responded to every inquiry immediately. This made for a wonderful experience. They fired the painter because he was not willing to move forward with all the horrible sheet rock repairs. Instead, we had to give them more money to pay for a commercial paint sprayer because they couldn't afford one! Beyond the horrible paint job, they did not install the wood base as asked, They squared all the outside corners of the base, which done correctly would have been at a 45 degree angle. Their response was" This is the only way we do this. We had asked them to finish sanding and painting the nail holes in the base and they said," we dont do that, this is our finished product". We had 3 other painting and restoration companies come look at the work for quotes for repair and it was $31,000. We had to pay them just above that amount to do the horrible work they did.

Alexei was super communicative, arrived right now time and got to work immediately. We ran into a small issue around the width of the door being about 1/2" too wide and walked through some options. He took his time and even made sure that the doors were more secure than they were previously by adding some longer screws. He made sure he cleaned up everything and checked in multiple times along the way to make sure everything looked good. Super impressed and have hired him for other projects now too!

In order to take care of it they had to get in to our crawl space YIKES! I left for work and came back to a fixed pipe. Rodger was respectful and thorough. He even took the time to spray foam other areas of our sink plumbing. Melissa, is the best in the office, she listens and makes the calls. This was my second time using Gordon's.
