I really wanted to like this place and give it a chance but sadly all my lashes, with only 5-7 holding on to dear life were left after just a week! I got my lashes done on a Thursday and attempted to reach out to the lash specialist/owner on the Saturday after to let her know that my lashes were falling off after a couple hours, and that most fell off my right eye lid after a couple of days. She responded by saying it was likely because I slept on that side but I sleep mostly on the left side. She responded to my text insisting I slept on the right. I was hoping she'd respond more professionally and at least offer to fix them, but alas that was not the case. I don't know what kind of glue she uses but she needs to upgrade big time! They looked so nice initially, but they weren't meant to last more than a week and I've been to other lash specialists and have had lashes for up to a month! UPDATE: Also, just a few minutes after my yelp post, the owner sent me a harassing string of texts because she can't handle a Yelp review critique. I won't give in to her immaturity and lack of professionalism. Pessimistic ! The owner has a very bad attitude she spends more time trying to insult and bring people down then she does on her own business! The place is clean and tidy ! But that's about it ! I went for a service and she spent an unnecessary amount of time bad talking a girl who used to work there which had absolutely nothing to do with my appointment! I hadn't visited her location before but it was easy to find with a banner hanging out in the balcony of her building. The way Tina set up her pink studio is on-point! I was never a believer in lash extensions because the two previous experiences I had left me with lashes that were falling out the day after. I felt it was time for a follow-up review, since it's been a little over a year now. I thought there was a few things you all should know. A) my lashes are not damaged at all. They still continue to grow in, and fall out in a normal manner. B) lash extensions don't have to be long and glam. I have since switched to "full volume", and gone much shorter. The longest length I use is a 10. I find that this looks better longer between fills, and fits my lifestyle better. People always comment on how natural mine look. If you never wear make up at all, then get "mixed lashes". C) Christina really is the best! I never think anyone's lashes look as good as mine. ( sorry!) They are either too long, too sparse, or simply don't fit their eye shape. Not only does she customize, she is way faster than most. Plus you can't beat her price, versus the quality that you get. D) lash extensions are one of the best things I've ever done for myself. It makes getting ready so much easier! I save at least 10 minutes every day by not having to put on mascara.
