    On the bikes.

First time trying this water activity. Our six year old couldn't do the tandem bike because she couldn't reach the pedals so she rode between us. At first she was apprehensive about it since it sits low and close to the water but once we were out she had so much fun especially when we'd get strong currents from boats and kayakers. It was a nice exercise and nice way to catch the breeze out on the water up see some sea life up close and personal. We would definitely try it again.

The best exercise in the water. I came here almost every week just to enjoy the view and exercise. $25 for 90 Minutes it worth it! It's so much fun and it's very stable

What a great water activity for the family or just yourself if you want to take in beautiful Mission Bay San Diego! The owner couldn't have been nicer and more accommodating when he set up my wife and two small children, ages 4 and 2, on a tandem hydro bike. He made sure the little ones had on their life jackets and even with a torn bicep hopped on a hydro bike and peddled out with us to help orient us to all there was to see. The waters were calm and the sea life abundant. We were able to peddle out within a few feet of a sun bathing sea lion and the children loved it. If you are looking for an activity on the water I couldn't recommend HydroBikesSD any more. Thanks guys!

Family of 5, 2 adults, 3 young children ages 7, 6, and 3 are we able to ride on this as a family?

There are tandem bikes that may work well with 3 year old. Call their office.

I have lived in San Diego my whole life but I got to experience Mission Bay in a whole new way on a hydro bike.

It was $15 bucks for an hour which in my opinion should be cheaper for renting a rusty bike but this is California haha. I guess I'm helping to pay that top tier space rent. I'd pay it again and love riding down here by the coast! There is always going to be loads of people down here and if you're not a confident rider, I wouldn't come here to ride a bike. There is so much going on, from kids riding, skating, blowing bubbles, adults riding, skating, and blowing bubbles. It's such a magical spot, it's always brought a huge smile to my face walking or riding down here! I use to come when you could ride scooters lol and one time a friend of mine collided with a bicyclist and she broke some bones. Needless to say, just be careful and if you're not advanced, a helmet would definitely be recommended.

Calling the store resulted in no help saying, "I never said Torrey Pines". Manager refused to assist us. After a two hour pedal fest and return of the bikes to the store, the manager gave us a partial refund and said that he probably gave us bikes that had dead batteries. I would not recommend this store/chain

I got some cute sweats and a skirt, 2 for $20! Can't wait to come back and live some more of the SoCal dream as a visitor, going up and down the boardwalk and soaking up the vibes. Since I'm not a multimillionaire I could probably never live nearby, which is the only thing that would be better.

It seems like everyone; young and old has an…read moree-bike and if you don't have one, have you been diagnosed with FOMO (fear of missing out)? Well, when I stroll along any walk path, whether at Balboa Park or here in Ocean Beach's walk path, lots of people are on an e-bike and some have nearly run over me or my pup. So, as the saying goes, if you can't beat them, join them?! I walked in this shop just to look and see and get informed. My first question was what's the priciest e-bike here? Answer: the WEAPON with all the upgrades add ons will put a dent in your wallet $9,999 and you save $$$ if you get the basic for $6k. The WEAPON E-Bike, particularly known in the market as the SUPERHUMAN WEAPON, is a high-performance electric mountain bike designed for serious trail enthusiasts. Weighing approximately 55 lbs, the use of a CARBON FIBER FRAME enhances both strength and agility, allowing for a responsive riding experience. And almost all parts are a challenge to get if the part is out of stock since most suppliers are based in China, who is subject to US tariffs. E-bikes must be used on the street and NOT on walkways/pathways or you can get ticketed by police. Jared was very helpful and informative and I got to look around the shop. The shop was organized and turns out they are authorized dealers of many brands. The shop also sells more affordable $$ e-bikes and are customizable for size and features if upgrades. To conclude, I don't have FOMO and I'm still not convinced I need an e-bike but if I do get one, I would consider this shop because I got great customer service from Jared who was nice and cool. If you're interested in an e-bike this place might have what you're looking for. Recommend

Avoid this place like the plague…read more EZE Ryders is a scammy, rude, incompetent shop that does not give a single damn about its customers--even if you drop thousands here. I've spent over $9,000 with them in less than a year. What did I get for that loyalty? The worst service I've experienced anywhere. Their service department (especially Omar and the big bearded tech) is openly rude, dismissive, and condescending. They act like it's a burden to do the job I'm paying them for. Examples? Sure. Twice now they've accused me of lying about crashing my commuter e-bike just because my derailleur snapped. Newsflash: On powerful e-bikes, you can snap a derailleur cranking the throttle uphill (like on Cortez Hill). I've done it 3 times on 3 different e-bikes. They apparently have no idea what they're talking about, but they'll stand there and lecture you like they're bike gods. Even if they were right (they're not), who cares how it broke? Your job is to fix it. Their workmanship is a joke. They've given my bike back with loose parts (a safety hazard), failed to fix things correctly on multiple visits, installed parts that don't even fit properly, and left my handlebars filthy. For $9k you'd expect at least basic competence. When they got sick of fixing my old bike (which they never got right anyway), Derrick the sales guy pushed me into buying a new $5,000 bike--telling me it would be "easier for them to work on." That turned out to be a lie too. I even paid extra for their overpriced "warranty package," which Omar later admitted covers absolutely nothing you don't already get from the manufacturer for free. Basically, they sold me a worthless add-on for profit. Most recently, I called Derrick for a same-day cable tension adjustment. He told me the service department was wide open and to bring it in immediately. I got there in ten minutes. Omar was literally scrolling his phone behind the counter, but told me they were suddenly "too busy" and I'd have to come back tomorrow. He also claimed I had too many miles on my brand new $5k bike for them to work on it. What? And then, as always, he couldn't resist blaming me with another laughably wrong "diagnosis"--claiming I ride only in high gear. No, the cable tension was off and the chain was catching. That's why I brought it in. It's your job to fix that, not guess wildly and insult your paying customers. In short: They don't know what they're doing. They don't care about customers. They lie to sell you bikes and worthless "warranty" packages. They do sloppy, dangerous work. And they're shockingly rude the entire time. If you value your money, safety, or sanity, avoid EZE Ryders.
