Wow! This was such a fun experience. I went in April with a few of my friends. I was glad I had a tandem kayak. It was a little windy the morning we went so it was nice to have a friend to share the paddling responsibilities with. Our rental was more than enough time to paddle down to the bridge and enjoy the SD skyline. Most of the boats were respectful. One of my friend's brought their dog and he had a great time on the water too! Parking wasn't too bad early in the morning before the sun came out, but get there early just in case. Be prepared to walk a bit from the shop to the beach. Know that you're out there on your own if you're just doing a rental. We felt comfortable the whole time, but I wouldn't recommend this spot if it's your first time ever kayaking- head to Mission Bay! This was a really great way to get on the water and see the city!

I came across this place by purchasing their Double kayak package through Groupon. I was able to purchase and reserve using their code the same day. The process was easy. Once purchased and reservations were booked. Just go to the place , check in, sign a waiver, and you are given a life jacket and oar ... then directed to walk to the beach where you meet a staff member who gives you basic safety instructions and which area you are not allowed. Keep in my mind, that there are water crafts, military carriers, and harbor boats consistently moving in the water, be prepared for less than smooth water compared to a lake. I definitely had a blast and will come back again. Especially when taking out of town friends/family to experience San Diego!

My boyfriend and I came to San Diego to celebrate our anniversary. We found the snorkeling cave tour on Groupon and we luckily ended up on a private tour with McKenna! She was amazing! Super sweet, patient, and attentive to us and made sure we were always comfortable. I was terrified going in at first (I was mainly going for my boyfriend) but she made me feel so comfortable. Our experience couldn't of been better and she was a big part of that. Seeing a few seals swim right by us was a big perk too. Thank you for making our experience an unforgettable one! Would 15/10 recommend!

I was envisioning myself in bed to read, nap, and scroll on my phone but Gavin had other ideas. He enjoyed the breaks in the room but wanted to do things. I don't blame him. He noticed this place as we were walking to get lunch earlier. We ended renting a surrey. It's meant for 2, both would need to pedal but the left side had the real steering wheel. Even when it was Gavin's turn to "drive," I still spun the dummy wheel though I knew it served no purpose. It was instincts. The path we took was along the waterfront which is the only path allowed. It was difficult to maneuver because there were a lot of people and a lot of people that are inconsiderate, too. Like a family of 6 walking side by side? Who are your parents that never taught you basic manners?! Service was nice. They hold your ID until the rental is returned. Gavin had fun. A helmet is mandatory for kids under 18 (free). All you pay is the rental for the bike itself. I'm not sure when will be our next cruise but we will definitely try this again but early in the morning so we can bike freely w/o people.

It was $15 bucks for an hour which in my opinion should be cheaper for renting a rusty bike but this is California haha. I guess I'm helping to pay that top tier space rent. I'd pay it again and love riding down here by the coast! There is always going to be loads of people down here and if you're not a confident rider, I wouldn't come here to ride a bike. There is so much going on, from kids riding, skating, blowing bubbles, adults riding, skating, and blowing bubbles. It's such a magical spot, it's always brought a huge smile to my face walking or riding down here! I use to come when you could ride scooters lol and one time a friend of mine collided with a bicyclist and she broke some bones. Needless to say, just be careful and if you're not advanced, a helmet would definitely be recommended.

It seems like everyone; young and old has an…read moree-bike and if you don't have one, have you been diagnosed with FOMO (fear of missing out)? Well, when I stroll along any walk path, whether at Balboa Park or here in Ocean Beach's walk path, lots of people are on an e-bike and some have nearly run over me or my pup. So, as the saying goes, if you can't beat them, join them?! I walked in this shop just to look and see and get informed. My first question was what's the priciest e-bike here? Answer: the WEAPON with all the upgrades add ons will put a dent in your wallet $9,999 and you save $$$ if you get the basic for $6k. The WEAPON E-Bike, particularly known in the market as the SUPERHUMAN WEAPON, is a high-performance electric mountain bike designed for serious trail enthusiasts. Weighing approximately 55 lbs, the use of a CARBON FIBER FRAME enhances both strength and agility, allowing for a responsive riding experience. And almost all parts are a challenge to get if the part is out of stock since most suppliers are based in China, who is subject to US tariffs. E-bikes must be used on the street and NOT on walkways/pathways or you can get ticketed by police. Jared was very helpful and informative and I got to look around the shop. The shop was organized and turns out they are authorized dealers of many brands. The shop also sells more affordable $$ e-bikes and are customizable for size and features if upgrades. To conclude, I don't have FOMO and I'm still not convinced I need an e-bike but if I do get one, I would consider this shop because I got great customer service from Jared who was nice and cool. If you're interested in an e-bike this place might have what you're looking for. Recommend

Avoid this place like the plague…read more EZE Ryders is a scammy, rude, incompetent shop that does not give a single damn about its customers--even if you drop thousands here. I've spent over $9,000 with them in less than a year. What did I get for that loyalty? The worst service I've experienced anywhere. Their service department (especially Omar and the big bearded tech) is openly rude, dismissive, and condescending. They act like it's a burden to do the job I'm paying them for. Examples? Sure. Twice now they've accused me of lying about crashing my commuter e-bike just because my derailleur snapped. Newsflash: On powerful e-bikes, you can snap a derailleur cranking the throttle uphill (like on Cortez Hill). I've done it 3 times on 3 different e-bikes. They apparently have no idea what they're talking about, but they'll stand there and lecture you like they're bike gods. Even if they were right (they're not), who cares how it broke? Your job is to fix it. Their workmanship is a joke. They've given my bike back with loose parts (a safety hazard), failed to fix things correctly on multiple visits, installed parts that don't even fit properly, and left my handlebars filthy. For $9k you'd expect at least basic competence. When they got sick of fixing my old bike (which they never got right anyway), Derrick the sales guy pushed me into buying a new $5,000 bike--telling me it would be "easier for them to work on." That turned out to be a lie too. I even paid extra for their overpriced "warranty package," which Omar later admitted covers absolutely nothing you don't already get from the manufacturer for free. Basically, they sold me a worthless add-on for profit. Most recently, I called Derrick for a same-day cable tension adjustment. He told me the service department was wide open and to bring it in immediately. I got there in ten minutes. Omar was literally scrolling his phone behind the counter, but told me they were suddenly "too busy" and I'd have to come back tomorrow. He also claimed I had too many miles on my brand new $5k bike for them to work on it. What? And then, as always, he couldn't resist blaming me with another laughably wrong "diagnosis"--claiming I ride only in high gear. No, the cable tension was off and the chain was catching. That's why I brought it in. It's your job to fix that, not guess wildly and insult your paying customers. In short: They don't know what they're doing. They don't care about customers. They lie to sell you bikes and worthless "warranty" packages. They do sloppy, dangerous work. And they're shockingly rude the entire time. If you value your money, safety, or sanity, avoid EZE Ryders.
