I had personal issues and had to fly out of town last minute (I called them to cancel my upcoming appointments and let them know) then had other multiple appointments when I came home. I've had one of the most relaxing experiences of my life yesterday. Let me tell you!!…read more I first met these wonderful ladies when I saw that they were offering ASMR sessions. Of all the YouTube videos I've absorbed, I have dreamed and dreamed of having one. I had a consultation first. They asked me very specific questions. If I wanted touch, what kind of background sound, what experiences I wanted, if there was anything that would make me uncomfortable, etc. They wanted to cater to my grand experience as much as they were able. The experience was everything I hoped it would be. Soft brushes along my face and arms, smooth cool stones, hair brushed and played with, and much more. I absolutely got the tingles!! And not only that, but I've felt myself relax for the first time in AGES. It was such an incredible experience that I immediately booked my next session and plan to do one once a month!

Beautiful place. I wish I could say 100-% good things about this place unfortunately my experience…read morewas a disappointment. I feel I have experienced discrimination due to the lack of knowledgeable staff here. I was wrongfully told I was unable to volunteer due to a non existing background check that was never performed on behalf of Good Shepherd. I was set for a meeting at 130 PM on a Tuesday and was informed to not show up on that same day at 0900 AM via email in which I was unaware of The email until later that evening. (After the meeting) I met with Amy and proceeded with the meet and greet and tour of the facility. As Amy mentioned nothing about the email she posted at 0900 AM, she then decided "I will go forward with your background check." With the intent, I have decided to be a blessing elsewhere and to provide my volunteer services as I have been a volunteer with hospice on and off for the past 7 years. I do not feel as if the compassion, grace and kindness was presented here at Good Shepherd Hospice House in Manhattan Kansas.

He was treated with kindness, compassion and dignity. My family and I were given every courtesy, afforded privacy, and were treated as if we were a welcome guest in a private home. The hospice was clean, beautifully decorated, quiet and every effort was made to make family members welcome. The time we spent at Hospice House with my father was brief, however we were never rushed or made to feel like we were imposing; a fine group of professional and compassionate health professionals made my fathers last days bearable.

I believe the heart and soul of Mathis rehab is their physical therapist at Mathis East Clinic,…read moreHope Cramer. She helped me achieve the mobility I needed to go hiking about a year ago and more recently she helped me build up my misguided arthritic hip and leg muscles to have a great recovery after a total hip replacement in May 2020. What makes Hope Cramer different than any other physical therapist (I've been to) is how much she cares about her patients. She talks to them like they're real people she just doesn't just give them exercises and let's they do it. Hope watches every detail. It's the minor things like resetting my leg each time I do this particular exercise. By doing so she has me TARGET the specific muscle(s) needing strengthened or stretched. Hope helped me achieve the strength and mobility goals that we set for before and after surgery recovery! My recovery has been amazing and it wouldn't have happened without Hope Cramer. My PCP Dr. Doubek referred me to Hope, and it was Hope's clear presentation of my program and her caring attitude that kept me returning. Thank you Hope!
