We called many places and everyone was closing at noon and couldn't help. We finally found N&J and when we called Norm answered, heard our issue and said he could fix it that day assuming it wasn't something beyond the brake line. It was towed to them using our AAA program and between Norm and Joey they quickly started on the issue for us. After replacing the line, bleeding the brakes (sorry Norm, I know on my Chevy that is a pain....) and 2.5 hours later I was on my way. $312 was one heck of a value for out of towners desperate to continue on to our final vacation destination in the U.P. Reading the negative reviews I have to wonder if those people really appreciate being helped in the worst of situations. This shop and specifically Norm and Joey were outstanding, friendly and very kind. They made a terrible situation for our family a fleeting memory a few hours later and the cost was reasonable compared to my own shop at home. Don't take your vehicle here!!! I received a quote for repair and authorized the work. When I…read morewent to pick the vehicle up the bill's labor portion had increased by 40%. Labor rates are determined by looking them up in a book. You can't miss it by 40%. I was also grossly overcharged for a 10 mile tow ($250). They saw the out of state plate and took full advantage. I am writing to the state attorney general to have them look into their records for similar rip offs of out of state vehicles.
