They all have a "Can-Do" attitude. Anytime the residents have a question or request, the staff never says no. They find a way to get them what they need in a timely manner. The nursing staff is excellent. Everyone is so friendly and caring. No matter how busy the staff is, they always stop and talk to the residents. Just some examples of how people go out of the way for my Dad; Chef Steve added some things to the menu that my Dad suggested, Valencia (laundry) goes the extra mile and hangs my Dads things on hangers for him and gets tough stains out of his clothes, the nurses help him with whatever he needs, Rose and Debbie always listen to him and try to implement his suggestions, Barbara and Jan are always helping and making sure he is okay, Mary is making him an "adult bib" ! I could go on and on but there isn't enough room ! Thank you all for taking such great care of my Dad!!!!!!

Giving her love and attention? YES! Peace of mind is something too valuable in instances like these. My grandmother is currently staying here, and she is treated wonderfully. Her hairstyles change more often then mine, and her nails are always groomed/painted. The staff knows her by name, and are able to make considerate conversation, if only momentarily. Your loved one will be well taken care of here, and that, is invaluable.

After I filed a complaint, the Florida Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA) issued a 48-page Statement of Deficiencies citing failures including not following physician orders and medication-related deficiencies. These findings are public record. During those 41 days there were three Executive Directors (DJ, Tammy, and Heather). The Head of Maintenance (Luis) also left. When I moved my parents out, I confirmed a zero balance. Our sales agent had represented one free month. After move-out, Katherine Schachter (Regional Director of Operations) and Mark McBride (Chief Operating Officer) provided written assurances regarding credits and refunds. However, full billing statements were not provided until February 26, 2026 -- five months later -- After my parents had already moved out, we received two phone calls delivering the same recorded message from Heather (Executive Director) identifying by first and last name an Independent Living resident who had died by suicide. I reported this as a potential privacy concern. Based on our documented experience, I do not recommend HarborChase of Dr. Phillips Assisted Living. The response to my post is to contact HarborChase. No I gave you 5 months to correct your mistakes. Give my parents their money back!! You violated both the medical and financial part of the contract!

They were in the process of redoing the floors, again, with wood. Most of the residents are in the dining room. Serving staff brought them menus from which they could choose what they would like to have for their meal. Very impressive. Lots of areas for them to do different activities.
