After 3 months the EV was returned but had a range less than half of what was promised. In less than 2 months the motor died on the freeway and the car had to be towed back to the shop. After many more months of excuses and promises that I would be "next in line" I sued the shop. The court ordered the return of my car which had been towed to an undisclosed location. I was also awarded a full refund and additional monetary loss-of-use damages. But before I could recover my car, Adam disabled the car and reprogrammed its computer. I don't know what is worse, the incompetence, dishonesty, or maliciousness.

They are a very small shop and are busy right when they open at 9am but they made time for me to bring my car in. The only thing was, find a place to stay at until they are completed. There are a lot of little food places in the area like walking distance so the wait wasn't terrible and they have a waiting area to sit at the shop and a makeshift bathroom area as well. I found "Hybrid Battery Lab & Auto Repair" by their bumper sticker. I've been seeing constantly while driving around town but have never been close enough to take a picture of it. One day while walking in the Costco parking lot. I saw a green Prius with this business sticker on it in the parking lot and I thought to myself, I better take a picture now at this point it's a sign that battery problems may be in my near future as my 2012 Prius is approaching the 190,000 mile birthday mark. And just like I thought on Christmas day my dash lit up with the ole "CHECK HYBRID SYSTEM STOP THE VEHICLE IN A SAFE PLACE", I looked up the code and everyone in the Prius Form Chat was pointing to battery problems. I took my car to my family mechanic and he quoted me $5000 to replace it and warned me that it wasn't wise to replace the cells as it's a temporary fix that you'll be coming back to fix every 6 months or even less time. My logic is I don't have 5g's, honestly I didn't ever really have the $800 to replace my cells & committing between the Bus/ Uber/ Lyft alone will cost me more than the $812.00 the business was charging to do this procedure. This place does have a 6 months warranty, so it is just the kinda blessing I need to say goodbye to my car and get my ducks together, to either save for another car or to try to save $5000.to replace the hybrid battery, which I can't justify at the moment. Robbie and his team are incredibly fast and dependable, especially in urgent situations. A few months ago, my car developed a slow oil leak, so I brought it in. Robbie quickly diagnosed the problem as a faulty oil drain bolt and had it replaced the same day in less than an hour. More recently, I asked Robbie if he could replace my brake pads and spark plugs. I expected it to take a few days since the parts would need to be ordered, so I was amazed when he was able to order them that same day and complete the installation later that afternoon. In fact, the work was finished several hours earlier than expected! Overall, I've had nothing but great experiences with Robbie and his team.
