The quality of their cut watermelon is awful. The container I opened this morning was soggy, soft smelled " off".

This is based on the pharmacy. For crying out loud, if you're going to participate in covid vaccinations at least train your staff on how it works. I called the store and they couldn't transfer me, I had to call the pharmacy's number which I would have done to begin with but that's not what google gave me when I searched for their pharmacy #. I asked about the vaccination appointments and was told to wait until their website was working, whoes website...dallas counties. I said that's where i got this information. Well try again on Friday. they start vaccinating tomorrow. Just keep trying is what I was told several times. Poof it's going to magically appear is what it sounded like to me. I called the 60th street pharmacy and their staff seems to know what is going on. So pick your pharmacy accordingly. read more

Love this Hy-Vee! This store is huge, bright, and clean. The meat counter and bakery is great! Actually, so is the produce and floral dept. Everyone is friendly! Love that they have Starbucks coffee and a post office inside. I used both, while I was visiting. Love Hy-Vee! Have I said that before? lol read more

This is a standard Hy-Vee and for the most part a good store but I have to give this one a three star rating because of the lack of personal hygiene I experience on a regular basis regarding the night stocking crew. Completely unacceptable and hard to believe it has not been addressed. Sorry guys , you can do better. read more

This is my goto grocery store. They have a pretty good food court, liquor store, Starbucks, pharmacy, meat department, gas station, and everything else you may need from a general grocery store. I go here anytime I need something. Their Chinese food is pretty good and I come here with coworkers to have lunch. This place is priced somewhere in the middle of the road. Some items are cheap and others expensive. Good place to shop if you like coupons. read more

Hy-Vee buffet looks so good when it comes to taste it sucks. I had lunch buffet couple of times here. 11am is very delicious this time I went at 1.30 pm and I never had that kind of food before anywhere .. it lost its taste nothing appealing. Not all Hy-Vee's are created equal and this is one of the better ones. It's worth the drive it's in an area that not too far from a Trader Joe's and Costco and a Super Target so you can get a lot of different types of shopping done in a reasonable amount of time. This particular Hi-Vee has one of the best charcuterie that I have seen at a grocery store. In particular like to shop for their San Francisco meats, their roast pork and rosemary ham in particular. They also carry some local Iowa chartrudery. They also have a nice selection of imported cheeses. They have a large produce area with the reasonable amount of selection of organic produce. they have a large bakery that produces lots of different choices for bread everyday. They have a hot food area which for someone who is single or a person of a certain age can buy food to help with meal planning and has enough different types of meals to make for some nice meal choices. They have a large butcher area with plenty of choices of things that you may want from everything from seafood to pork to beef choices. They also have a large Frozen food section of typical items that are offered in frozen foods. They also have a very big dairy case with lots of milk and cheese choices that are pre-packaged. Like other Hy-Vee's they have a household item area that has paper goods and other things in incidentals that you might need. They also have a fairly large organic food area with dry foods. they also have a in-house pharmacy that has regular pharmaceutical things that you might need and basic first aid supplies. They also have a fairly large floral area. it's busy on during the times and days at grocery stores are busy if you want to go during a less busy time you need to go in a more atypical time period. They also have an in-house Starbucks. Lots of choices in a larger store. read more

Please do not shop at Hy Vee. During a mid day visit many customers without masks and the cashier had her mask below her nose. Also, beer vendor had no mask. Hy Vee needs to mandate masks. Walmart, Trader Joes, Whole Foods, Target and Aldi do so. Also Costco. read more

I used this Hy-Vee to cater my wedding and was SO SO SO happy with them!! Stacey is AMAZING. She's very good at what she does and offers great suggestions. We went with a fajita buffet, late-night pizza, and all of our cake through Hy-Vee. Stacey was so helpful with small requests from making the guac spicy to even ordering flowers that matched my color scheme for the food tables. Highly recommend!!! read more

We've ordered flowers from this store in the past. Last week we ordered steaks, salmon, salads and pie as a gift for DSM family members to grill on their anniversary (and used both online & phone in doing so). Wish we still had the name of the helpful young man who assisted us, but can just say that staff were so helpful & the delivery on time. Value was excellent and the food great- so all in all a big score!! . Today, Alex in floral helped us with a candy gift for our niece. The Market Grille has trivia nights, beer tasting and special nights with off-the-menu foods. The manager is very welcoming, as is the waitstaff. The food is fresh (I often see the chef and prep team shopping for produce and in the meat and seafood counters). This Hy-Vee is really big and has great aisle space. You don't feel like there's a chance to be trampled in the dairy aisle at this location. read more
