He was very friendly, very knowledgeable and loved to share his knowledge about fresh, organic food. I had the XL Taco Salad which is so big is good for lunch and dinner. And had the peanut butter cocoa smoothie. Both are really good. I am from Los Angeles and I miss my PB smoothie from my local favorite place and this took me home! I really like all the variety of dishes they have. I am happy to say I have found my local place in Rock Island! The only thing I recommend is to check when you pay extra for avocado. I payed extra for the avocado and I barely got 3 very small pieces.

Worst case scenario, the man couldn't read or comprehend the sign. If he couldn't read or comprehend the sign, then I was concerned about food safety and if he could follow health codes. We decided to get dinner elsewhere. They didn't have all the scripts I needed, and they got the insulin dosage wrong. Another issue, they only filled 60 days' worth when my doctor wrote the scripts for 90. All my doctors write 90-day scripts. If they cannot do a 90 day, we will choose a different pharmacy.

You'll get your quarter back when you've returned the cart safely to the corral. Second, BYOB. Or don't. Aldi sells bags for around ten cents each. I prayed for an Aldi when I was doing all of my own grocery shopping. For as long as I'm staying with my parents, I'll never turn down a trip to this great discount grocery store!

Produce seems especially high to me. A discount market is opening in town soon, a division of Hy-Vee, kind of along the lines of ALDI, but with brand names. That will add choices for locals.

The inside of the place actually looks a lot like a Southern diner, complete with a rack full of bumper stickers for sale. Within minutes I had ordered a drink from the woman who owns the place, and within minutes after that, I knocked my drink over, spilling everything and breaking the glass right there on the bar. Since I had never been there before, it would have been very easy for her to have kicked me out and not had to deal with my clumsiness. Instead, she got me another drink without me even asked me and assured me that all was going to be well. We spent the next half an hour hob-knobbing with the locals who were very friendly and had a great sense of humor. I get the feeling that I will be back there again, and I can't say enough nice things about their hospitality.
