Last week he fueled up 32 gallons of diesel in his 9mo old truck and left town for a work trip towing equipment to Tulsa. Half way to Springfield a fuel light came in saying there was water in the fuel!! He called a dealership while on the road, they said stop driving it immediately and he drove to the dealership. He had got them to look at it the next morning. So that cost him a day. There WAS water in the fuel and a day later and $1800 worth of damage they had to fix on his truck. He used to spend $100-150/DAY in fuel here, do the math. Never again. We will never buy gas or fuel here ever again. QT is one block away and they will now have our business.

The store is immaculately clean and even though the parking lot looked fuller, it didn't seem busy inside. Most of the shoppers were elderly people. The carts are nice and ergonomic it seems. There was a woman collecting carts from the outside and continually bringing them inside. It seemed darker in this store compared to Walmart and HyVee but everything was very neat and the produce section looked very fresh and neatly displayed. The beef section was more limited and I feel like the butcher would continually bring out a new product as people purchased some. That was what I was there to primarily buy. The rest of animal protein was displayed like other stores. The aisles were wide and neatly organized. They don't have as much selection as Walmart (food) or HyVee but it's a nice neighborhood store. I only saw the butcher, deli worker, shop cart attendant and a woman working the self serve area though. The parking lot is kind of a negative because it's shared with many other businesses in a strip mall so it's hectic.

Health food stores are apparently very limited in the Kansas City area for some reason. This store was great because I had many options I've ever seen before at a health food store. Prices here are a little high compared to what I'm used to seeing but when there's a special on a certain item that's over in Clearance, it's truly at a great price. Please check that the item matches up with the price when you check out because I had a minor issue the prices being charged at the original price but not at the this kind of price upon checking out. Thankfully the staff was able to rectify that situation. Staff here was also truly friendly as well. I do enjoy that there's not too many people here as well. The strip mall has plenty of parking so there should never be an issue when it comes to finding a spot. Even cooler is that there's a vegan restaurant across the street and they sell some of their food here at the health food store it's inside one of the fridges by the checkout. So for those health conscious people you do not have to make two trips. The parking lot when you leave can be a bit challenging to leave. Not a place for a CostCo type of run, but more for niche local items. My favorite and my frequent purchase here? Their coffee. More specifically, their Oddly Correct and Thou Mayest beans. It's nice to splurge on the good stuff every so often, and also nice to gift these beans to coffee lovers around the holidays. From what I can tell on a recent visit, they've scrapped their bulk buy items which is honestly a good call. I had freshness issues with both their oats and popcorn in the past. Lots of parking but also a part what my family calls the intersection of death. Home to totaled cars and fender benders over the decades, traverse this intersection at your own peril!

They will have sales that are pretty good sometimes but I do all my shopping at once. I do get my photos developed here and they are usually correct. The pharmacy is good and most workers are polite and helpful. The store is clean and the staff is generally polite in the main store area when I do go in. I have had a few issues off and on with the customer service in the main store throughout the years but typically the pharmacy is consistent.
