We recommend this place to everyone, the prices are great and affordable, and we have had no issues with the items we bought!

He didn't break anything and I guess the lady who claims she's the owner of the store othe manager, she told my son not to touch a ball that I was going to purchase as well as purchase a bunk bed. If I were you I would stay away. Don't give them your money. It's like a thrift store and they claim its new, but I'm sure it's not. Please stay away from that place. I don't give my hard earned money to nobody who treats me or who treats my children bad so I hope you all rethink that.

We visit Cargo Largo almost every time we are in MO. They have a large selection of items from…read moreclothes to electronics to beauty supplies. The items are discounted and most things are really good quality. Last time I was there we got a 25 lb kettlebell for $20, some named brand face cream that was $4, and my husband got some Monster headphones he was really excited about for $40. Unfortunately when we got back to our family's house only one headphone worked. We took it back and I was pleasantly surprised that the return process was seamless. We will continue to go back when we are in town and see what deals we can find.

So Frugal's has moved locations! Unfortunately it's not for the better. There is less stock…read more(possibly because they've just recently reopened!) and the prices are higher. While there are definitely some treasures and deals to be found, it's ultimately a downgrade in quality from the previous location, at least at the current time. I also want to note that despite loudly advertising that "all clothing is $2.98," they have a section at the front of higher priced clothing items. I admit I think this is a rather duplicitous business practice. It also seems random what clothes are put up there. Some of it was the same fast fashion that infests the rest of the clothing racks, while some finer materials and true vintage was languishing on the $2.98 racks. It just didn't make sense to me! It's worth a stop if you're in the area, but I wouldn't go out of my way for Frugal's.

Located in a relatively safe section of town, Frugal's Family Thrift store is available to service…read moreall of your second-hand market needs. I found the parking lot to be depressing as if I was in the middle of no-where with civilization being hundreds of miles away. I'm just adding this point as it was the way I felt. That said, the staff friendly and most of the patrons were very nice. Please note Thrift stores are very hit or miss so going from week to week can result in a highly different experience. I'll be the first to admit, all thrift stores have a funky smell to them and I found Frugal's to be especially smelly; nothing to the point of unbearable but it lingers for the duration of the visit. Now in terms of being what do they offer, well pretty much everything and anything. Furniture, clothing, toys, books, CDs/DVDs, cookware, you name it. I found the kitchen section in terms of pots, pans, mixers and things of that nature to be very sparse while their main attraction was clothing. Off in the back right, one can find a small furniture section with some decent to horrible offerings. I liked some of the books they had and was extremely tempted to pick something up since I found many that perked my interest. Their music selection had me laughing as I noticed a couple odd bands from the 80s, 90s and beyond which I don't think anyone would buy. Color Me Bad anyone? I don't recall seeing much for motorized lawn equipment but I was in and out relatively quickly. Overall, thrift stores have a very particular clientele and subculture. I'm pretty sure if you're reading this you know how things go, so I'm not going to try and upsell you, rather give you the thumbs up to come on by and see what they got. It's safe and the people are nice while have a very large floorspace open to many different reasonably priced objects.

The Goodwill bins are not for everyone. It takes a very specific, very patient, very hands-on…read moreperson to have a good day at the bins. If that's you, you're in for a treat! There are lots of great things to be found here but they're entirely dependent upon luck. You might come for days and find nothing good, then find something amazing in the first 10 minutes another time. Be prepared for dubious substances, slime, broken glass, and lots of garbage. Wear gloves if you think you need them. Be prepared for people to shove you out of the way to get something they want or, alternatively, stand 3 inches away and give you the stink eye while you dig through a bin they want to look in. As other reviewers have said, the people working there often just make up prices. This can sometimes work out in your favor but often leads to overpaying, especially if they make you weigh the cart. Whatever weight they have put in for the carts is not accurate at all and will lead to you paying extra 99 times out of 100. Seriously, this place is not for the faint of heart. Or nose. If you're a hardcore thrifter looking for your next treasure, it's absolutely worth the visit. Just make sure you bring some hand sanitizer!

The cashier said sorry I was told we can't hold it. It was nowhere to be found yet she told me no one had purchased it. To say that Nothing is Over A Dollar isn't true at all. Things are priced from 1.00 up. The thing is, I've seen boxes of candy for a dollar, that should be priced .50, cause it's .69 at Wal-mart. They are kind of unclean on the floor. It just doesn't feel like a clean store. They have trinkets that are labeled as gifts. I saw a schnauzer figurine for 5.00 who's eyes were crossed.. They have generic toys of not much worth. Books that also seem generic. I buy paper plates here, Hane's Taggless t's, and gift bags. They have clothes, but if you can afford better, I'd not chance putting any of these (except if it comes in a package, like the Hane's T's), through the wash machine. The jewelry isn't always a dollar, and isn't worth it if is 1.00. This used to be a 1.00 store, and it is huge. It is very large, but when it switched up the prices, it's hardly worth going. They still have Nothing Over A Dollar int he store, but if you ask the cashier (there's usually just one), she'll tell you to watch the prices. If the item says something else, then that is the price. Hmm....
