They have name brands, but they also have less expensive versions of just about everything. They have a huge selection! Plus if you bring your own (previously purchased) 60 cent cup back, you can have free crushed ice! As many times as you want! At 11:20 this morning I had hands down the WORST gas station clerk experience I've ever had. He was…read morevery busy so waiting to tell him the cups were out was not an option, I grabbed a sleeve and struggled to put a lid on two different cups, they weren't right. Letting the clerk know was the biggest mistake, he was so rude, charged me for two cups because I ruined one trying to put the lids they had on. He persisted with being a complete asshole when I went to pay so I let him know and he began screaming and cussing at me. I will never go back. No one deserves to be treated that way. I hope the owners don't mind losing business because the clerk believes screaming and cussing at a small woman is okay. I heard how he treated the people before me so I made sure to be extra nice too.

My family and I have been frequenting the Westin for 30 years now, and ALWAYS have a reason to stop…read morein at The Apothecary shop. everything from ibuprofen to razors to wine, to the late night snacks that will sustain us when the hotel has nothing easy to snack on in the middle of the night. Over the last few years it has become more and more unpleasant to go in there, and last night was the last straw for us. I will starve or go without aspirin if needed in the future because I will NOT go back. We arrived at the door at 9:15p, checked the hours on the door before entering to be sure we were not going to be rude and hold up a store worker to find we had plenty of time because the store closes at 10pm. We had 4 indecisive people all going around looking at various snacks and drinks, enjoying ourselves and chatting obliviously other than noting the obnoxiously loud music being played by the store clerk. It was very loud and annoying, but whatever, he has to work there, so we get over those things. Then all of a sudden the clerk slammed the glass double doors shut, so we thought... "oh he must be wanting to close shop". What I can't get over is the way he behaved as I walked up to the counter to check out. Being a very friendly person I am, I smiled and said "Hi how are you" as I walked to the counter only to be greeted with a sour, eye rolling, face being put out that I was even there. I immediately looked for a clock thinking we had overstayed closing, and I said at the same time "did we keep you late, I thought you closed at 10? As my eyes found the clock, it was only 9:30p. What I cannot get over is that as my daughter and rest of my family filtered in behind me to place their items on the counter, he rudely barked and aggressively waved his arm "I've got stuff to do!". Hmm, ok. I was immediately offended by him snapping at me the way he did. It was uncalled for, and we are literally spending elevated(captive) prices for being off a hotel lobby just to shop in there, so being rude doesn't help me feel like ever coming back, not to mention how ghetto(run down, etc) feeling the store and Crown Center has become. This man's demeanor was awful. He clearly oozed resentment, disdain and indignation at having to be there and aimed that energy at my entire family. We completed the checkout in mostly tense silence other than I had to tell my husband to hurry up a bit to the counter because this guy has "stuff to do...", which clearly baffled him, and he said "wait I thought they were open until 10, it's only 9:30p?". I said "Yes, but he's got stuff to do apparently, and we're holding him up.". The man never, not once, took a step back, or apologized or let alone said "thank you"... he was just pissy the whole time. We won't be back, not even if we're desperate.

Very clean and well stocked with a lot of extras. It has a full kitchen with breakfast lunch and dinner items. They even have barbecue that's definitely not the worst I ever ate. Fried chicken tacos and the gamut of tried appetizers. Even some decent looking salads. They also have fresh baked goods cookies, banana bread, candies like peanut brittle and chocolate. Don't get me wrong this isn't gourmet food but were talking much better than you would think. The usual stuff rounds out the convenience store experience, liquor, bread, ice and fountain drinks. If your stopping on the way to the lake you could pick up some last minute items and get some gas. Very clean store and nice people.
