If I do I always give the headlights a swipe. One early morning I grabbed the squeegee, gave the headlights a swipe and walked to the back window. As I start wiping the back window I hear the cashier start scolding someone...as I look around... I'm the only one using a squeege... Me? Why me? She starts saying not to use the squeege to clean your car... goes in to detail how it will scratch the paint... that's what car washes are for. I am in awe that this is happening....for cleaning my headlights and back window. As I continue cleaning and trying to tune out the woman, I intermittently glance up at the store... the older gentleman cashier...just glaring at me. Seriously? Who are these Squeege Vigilantes? Everything I've had has been A+! The steaks were very tender and juicy. Loved them. The fresh dago patties were very good. Much much better than Morellis dago patties. In fact these could be put up against many restaurant hot dagos in the Twin Cities, short of DeGidios hot dago. They are in a league of their own. The Gangster Roll caught my eye in the meat case and I had to ask the butcher(owner) what it was. It is a pork tenderloin filleted out, then stuffed with pepper jack cheese, Italian sausage, pepperoni, and sprinkled with. Porketta seasoning, then rolled back up. I got one and I'm glad I did! It was fan-freaking-tastic! I wish I snapped pics of everything. I will be making Borchert's a weekly stop.
