I am aware that clogged dryer vents are a major cause of fires, which was my concern. It was a Sunday and I decided to call Ray from Klean Ventz, who to my surprise answered the telephone. I highly recommend Klean Ventz because he answered the phone on Sunday, came the next day and his price was very reasonable.

The office was closed, my calls went unanswered, and I was finally texted a generic excuse changing my window to 12-3 PM. After pushing for an ETA, they promised they would arrive before 3 PM and finish quickly. By 3:20 PM, they still hadn't shown up, so I was forced to cancel my appointment and put all my furniture back myself. They completely ghosted my cancellation text. I was looking for a smaller company to diagnose my central air issue. My experience with larger…read moreoperations is they charge way more to pay for all that overhead with their fleet of fancy trucks. I also liked the fact Anthony didn't have any of those scam maintenance contracts that the bigger guys try to intimidate you into signing. If they try to pull that crap, run. My father was in the trades and working with him when I was younger gave me a good BS detector. That said, I called Anthony, left a message and he got back to me within 15 minutes. Super honest nice guy. I explained my issue and he explained that he can fix central air units but doesn't replace them, which I initially thought was disappointing, but it turns out to be the best way. Think about it. With older units most other companies are going to tell you to replace the entire thing. They don't want to replace some part because there's no big payday in it for them. I liken it to a dentist. They don't try to save your tooth anymore because they can make much more money putting in an implant. After a time misunderstanding on my part, we arranged a time and Anthony showed up ,on time. He diagnosed the problem and replaced the part at very little cost. All guaranteed. I'm just happy if it gets me through the summer. You have to call Anthony first, before anybody else. The guy can do anything. Now if anybody asks me for a recommendation, I can say "I gotta guy"

I'm writing today to express my outrage at their recent "bait and switch" service. Yesterday we had…read moreour regular contract service on our air conditioning in preparation for the summer. The technician showed my husband photos of how dirty our unit was and recommended the installation of an air purification system for $59. we both felt that was a reasonable price and agreed to it. My husband even commented to the technician on how reasonable it was. You can imagine my shock when I saw a charge of $1599 on my AmEx bill this morning. Obviously their first reaction will be that my husband misheard the price, but for BOTH of us to have misheard is almost impossible. We know what we heard and we both heard the same thing: $59! Had we been told the truth we would not have agreed given the age of our unit and the possibility of having to replace in the not so distant future. I can tell you we will not be using Aggressive when that time comes, nor will we be renewing our service contract in the future. I don't mind paying for good service, but I don't like being cheated!
