This company installed a top of the line Owens Corning roof in October of 2024. There have been…read moreproblems ever since. I never had any issues with my old roof in the 18 years that I lived here.They told me they were the only ones in the area who could offer the platinum warranty. They, however, did not follow the rules of attic ventilation... never even entered my attic to calculate it. They also installed a ridge vent on a 2/12 slope roof, another reason that my roof warranty is now void. They have no interest in fixing the situation and leave it up to me the home owner to research possible solutions. They then constantly change the date of repair putting new jobs ahead while my attic fills with heat, condensation, and mold. My dormer has a useless ridge vent that can cause leaks and is sucking out my heat and air conditioning causing my utility bills to double. As other reviews below have stated, the owner becomes extremely defensive and nasty and will not follow through on fixing his mistakes, which is causing a lot more damage to my home other than the roof. The owner would rather argue back and forth waiting for his two year contract to come to an end instead of stepping up and doing the right thing. He sold me a warranty that my 1964 house could not meet in criteria without major remodeling. I paid over and above to have this top warranty because he sold himself as a top installer. Since 2024 he has been removed as a platinum installer by Owens Corning, which is very concerning. He now pushes the GAF product that he talked down in 2024 as being subpar. He also stalled on filing my warranty in 2024 and almost missed the 60 day window. I had to keep calling in oder for the company to file it. How many people don't follow up and now have no warranty? Currently mine is voided because he didn't follow ventilation criteria and also didn't consider my home structure. He continues to argue back and forth wasting precious time as winter approaches. Because of the lack of ventilation my roof shingles are baking, my utility bills unaffordable, and my home structure getting ruined daily. Believe the negative reviews below. Disrespect runs wild at the company towards their high paying customers who they want to be accepting of subpar work. The way they speak to paying customers is truly unbelievable... There is no professionalism and they live for the day instead of thinking of maintaining reputation... which is how one stays in business longterm. Because of the seriousness of this issue causing my home to rot from the inside and bake the shingles from the outside, I have to seek legal counsel. And the company is well aware that they own the roof until December 2026 and that I cannot have anyone else in to fix prior because Owens Cornings makes the contractor liable for the first two years. What kind of company does that? Instead of coming out and taking the ridge vent off and opening the soffits, they purposely make sure that I can't move forward. But they will be held legally to the massive damage to my roof structure and any mold inside the dormer. Owens Corning has strict ventilation rules and Home Pro never stepped foot into my attic until a few weeks ago. Now they just want new jobs and don't want to allow a day to fix my issue so I won't have problems this winter. Going back and forth with them has taken time away from my family. They can't give up one day to do a fix ... they would rather cause stress and just keep taking on new jobs. The money they will lose on reputation and legal fees won't be worth it in the end. It seems illogical. This company does not stand by their work or warranty. With the many contractors out there, don't choose this one. Believe the negative reviews you read. Go with a company that will readily rectify any error and respects the investment you made in your home.

The quality of the work was perfect which I know because they send me pictures of the work as it was happening, which I did not even ask for. When my property was being inspected by city officials the contractor showed up in person to walk them through the work they had done. Inspection passed! They Showed up every day they said they would, worked hard and stayed late. Every time I called with a new idea or project they accommodated my requests quickly, safely and affordably. They worked with me on payment options and gave me advice when dealing with insurance. For an experience I didn't not want to have I was very surprised, pleased and relived to have found honest, trustworthy, reliable contractors. I genuinely cannot recommend JKR Construction highly enough. They are one of those rare contractors…read moreyou find and then never want to use anyone else. My experience with them actually began years before my full roof replacement, when I had a leak that had been an ongoing problem for years. Other contractors were telling me I would need to replace my skylights and spend thousands of dollars. JKR came out, correctly identified where the water was actually getting in, and fixed the problem without trying to sell me work I didn't need. That repair never leaked again. They saved me thousands of dollars then, and their honesty was the reason they were the first people I called when my roof eventually reached the point that it truly needed to be replaced. The full roof replacement only reinforced how much I trust them. Joe was completely upfront about what my roof needed and what the job would cost. Their proposal included the extensive plywood replacement my roof required rather than giving me an attractive initial price and then surprising me with thousands of dollars in additional charges once the roof was opened. Their pricing was extremely fair and, more importantly, transparent. The skylights are another perfect example of the kind of company JKR is. This time, the two skylights really did need to be replaced, but the existing openings were not standard sizes. Custom replacement skylights would have been extraordinarily expensive. Instead of simply passing that enormous cost on to me, Joe and his team figured out a way to rework the openings so that standard-size skylights could be installed. That solution alone saved me thousands and thousands of dollars. It's exactly the kind of problem-solving and consideration for the homeowner's money that I have come to expect from them. The workmanship and work ethic of the entire crew were exceptional. Alberto and the crew were incredible. They were here every day, worked incredibly hard and often worked late. This was a major project, including replacing a tremendous amount of plywood, and they used high-quality materials throughout. They protected my property during the work and cleaned up meticulously, even coming inside to clean dust that had settled from all the work being done above. They were equally wonderful about the gutters. There was a particular issue with how the front of my house needed to drain, and I really did not want a downspout placed where the obvious solution would have put it. Rather than telling me that was simply how it had to be done, they listened to me, worked through the problem, and pitched everything properly so that it functioned without compromising the appearance of my house. But what distinguishes JKR most for me is trust. I have dealt with enough contractors to know how difficult that is to find. Joe and his team have had multiple opportunities over the years to tell me I needed expensive work, add costs once a project began, or take the easiest solution. They didn't. Instead, they have repeatedly found ways to save me money while still doing the job correctly and using quality materials. I have already recommended JKR to friends and family, and I will continue to do so. I honestly would not trust anyone else with my roof. If I could give them more than five stars, I would.
