I specifically asked the employee at the register if it was a monthly charge, and he assured me it wasn't. He was a nice and friendly kid, so I didn't push back at the time. That was my mistake for taking him at his word and believing it was an earned points club like at Old Navy, Famous Footwear, etc. In hindsight, I still cant really say if the kid knows he is selling subscriptions, or if he genuinely believes it's an earned points system. Also, canceling the subscription was a pain because of course customer service is handled out of country by an automated systems that make it nearly impossible to speak to anyone. I had to eventually just put a "stop payment" via my credit card company. This is a bummer review because I really wanted to like FYE. But I will never shop here again. Back to Mad Monk I go.
