I walked in expecting this to be like every other sex store. I am happy to admit I was wrong. This particular store is how all other adult stores should aspire to be. I was welcomed in and the staff asked if I was after anything in particular. I told them no and began to browse. After some time a taller man asked if I was still finding things okay and did I have any questions. At the current moment I didn't. So I told him no. He even provided me answers to questions I didn't even know I had! He helped me in making safe and healthy selections of products of quality and how to care for them. He helped me get a whole new outfit to wear and even when the shoe I was interested in was out of stock in my size he found me a different option in my size I loved even more! The most surprising part was when I went to check out I wanted to make sure he was properly credited for all of his time and effort (I was in the store over an hour) he tells me "thank you, but I don't work on commission." I was shocked! He was so helpful and with the prices being so high I was sure it was just an up sell. But no he was genuinely just being helpful. Anymore finding people who give great customer service like Jordan did is almost impossible! If whoever is his superior reads this give that man a raise! I've been to Hustler Hollywood in the old location downtown. First time at this one which they expanded into a bigger building. Hustler Hollywood sells Sensual oils, lingerie, novelties, Hustler apparel, videos, DVDs, magazines, books and other gift items. I think everyone knows who Larry Flynt is and how he started in Cincinnati. The store is fun and if you and your partner are looking for something to spice up the relationship, there is a great selection of items you can find. The staff were helpful, professional, and respectful. Aside from allowing me to browse in (relative) privacy and helping me retrieve items upon request, the employees offered feedback ("That rope is very soft and comfortable") to help me make the best purchase for me. When I asked for an inexpensive metal plug, an employee showed me their selection and gave me some information about the material (nickel-plated stainless steel) before I even thought to ask. He also advised me of the risks associated with nickel-plated (stained skin, staph infections) and explained that the USA doesn't strictly regulate the materials used in adult toys. He showed me some non-plated surgical steel plugs as well, and when I said those were out of my price range, he asked if I knew where their other location was and recommended I go there for less expensive body-safe options, or wait until they have the chance to restock. Both employees wore masks that correctly covered their nose and mouth as well as disposable gloves. The door to the shop had a sign to indicate the correct way to wear a mask, which gave me confidence that the store was as hygienic as it could be during this time. I was also followed into the store by a stranger who attempted to make conversation with me, and when he left an employee immediately made a point of asking if I was alright despite having no way of knowing if I was going to purchase anything. They are hilarious and are very lighthearted. Nothing offends them and nothing could possibly shock them. They'll never make you feel uncomfortable. They are actually shockingly knowledgeable, and that's something you can't get anywhere else. It's worth dropping some extra cash to get a real "sexpert" to show you around, explain the ins and outs, and make recommendations. They sell the top dog of everything; the best of the best. For the record, I went into this store with a friend because we were planning a scavenger hunt for a bachelorette party. I'm happy to report that this store is incredibly clean and well maintained.
