They sent out the same electrician twice who said he could not fix the problem, then I never heard from them again until I told them I was leaving. I refused to pay rent for the last month because I could not use one of the bedrooms for more than half of my lease, and took video of the condition of the home prior to my vacating it. They STOLE my security deposit and sent me a bill for almost $3000 stating I left the property dirty and damaged. Absolutely disgusting business practices, if you have any sense of self-preservation you'll stay away from crooked Joe.

My husband and I moved to Sacramento from Southern California last year. We didn't know much about…read morethe area but found Meghan on a referral from a friend. From our first phone conversation, we clicked. She's very easy to talk to b/c she has a great personality. I found out that Meghan was originally from the East Coast as our my husband and me so that was our instant connection. She answered lots of questions and set us up with a mortgage broker as well. Right from the start, she was always available to answer questions and we had a lot of them. Thankfully she is patient too. While we searched from LA, she did some video tours for us. Once we moved to the area she took us around to tour all the homes that we had on our list - we saw 6 or 7 places in one day! We were like speed daters but that is because my husband and I knew what we were looking for. With Meghan, setting up tours was easy b/c she always made the time for us. It felt like I was working with a close friend who also gave good advice and she genuinely cared about what was best for us. Our fist couple offers were us kind of testing things out. I was actually glad they fell through b/c in the end we found the best house and neighborhood. We were walking around midtown after touring some open houses and saw a coming soon sign. We saved the house so we would get notification. 6 days later on a Friday the house was listed with a schedule open house for Sunday. We told Meghan we wanted to get in before the open house, she got us in the next day and we put an offer on the home that evening. By Monday they had a total of 3 offers but accepted ours Tuesday - we closed 30 days later! And we could not be happier. We enjoyed working with Meghan as an agent and now consider her a friend too. I have already referred her to a few friends and now to all my Yelp friends, I say if you need an agent that is fun and works hard to ensures that you get the house you want don't look any further.

Keep in mind since Meghan wants to stoop low in her response to my opion that it just shows who she really is and makes her look quite desperate and terrible. I recently purchased a home and worked with Gaea Kelch, one of Gateway's realtors, for my house…read morehunt. This review is mostly for Gaea, but I'd like to say that I was impressed with the other Gateway staff I worked with (shout out to Becke O'Neil) and would certainly work with them again. I have known Gaea for a while now and previous reached out to her last year to get the process started to buy a house. Unfortunately, the government has very specific rules about what income can and can't be counted towards a loan, so buying wasn't in the cards for me in 2022. Despite that, Gaea remained in touch to let me know about different programs that were going on and the overall state of the housing market. I jumped back into the process in mid-March this year and closed on a home just about a month later - largely in part due to Gaea's efforts. Gaea was not only knowledgeable about government programs, which helped me secure a down payment loan for my house, but also has a ton of knowledge about the real estate market, in general, and helping prospective owners write competitive offers. At the same time, Gaea is also incredibly attentive and easy to communicate with, either via phone call, text, or email, and I was able to reach her with ease whenever a specific question arose. Gaea recommended local lenders for me to work with, one which ended up being my loan officer, who also helped keep the deal on track (shout out to Jennifer Martell at PRMG - also highly recommended!) when we hit some snags that were otherwise beyond our control. From start to finish, Gaea was there with me every step of the way: visiting houses I was interested in, helping me put in my first bid (which I lost against TWELVE other bids - talk about competitive), to immediately pivoting to my second bid, where she reached out to the seller's realtor to help work on competitive offer. From there, she helped with inspections, document signing, communication between my lender and the seller, and so much more. As a result, I am a new homeowner, and I was able to secure my down payment loan from California's Dream for All Program. The funds from that program were all accounted for within 10 days, so believe me when I said we moved fast, and with purpose! I really can't say enough good things about Gaea here. I won't need to purchase another house any time soon, but would absolutely work with Gaea again, and would recommend her and Gateway Properties to my friends and family, when they are in the market. After a while, I started to see Dan, he showed up and showed him around. He explained how it work between with any Property Management and the owner while requesting for any work repair. There was one lady whom suppose to work with me named Stephanie (long story, but let me make it short simplifying thing), she mentioned she talking with owner for the past approximately 4-5 months , therefore no result. That how I was about to get Dan which I finally meet him. He fired that lady, Stephanie, then got another person. That all good. I rather reach out to Dan for any quicker responses. He is the main person. So, things happened, got things settle, and made a good deal for me for one month. It wasn't a bad deal and got most of the thing fix like ceiling fan in living room, replacement 2 fans/light upstairs, fix heather, eh, it was all taken care off. Alright then, that my simply journey story. I end up staying another year but more likely stay here 3 more year for the kids school. All that thing being happening, henceforth one I recommend go through it, however always get Dan or each out to him. Someone might help, but he is the one you actually need to take things care of.
