I found this place a few ways when I moved to Perrysburg a few years ago: friends who live in…read morePerrysburg, Google reviews, and the coupons from this dry-cleaners in the monthly Valu-Pak that circulate to the residents living in Perrysburg. This place is the best! Prior to Perrsyburg, I lived in Boston for a few years where I was getting dry-cleaning pretty regularly. I've had dry cleaning at Sunny's a few times now, including 2 wool coats (men's & women's), cashmere scarves, men's 2 piece suit. The cleaning itself is thorough and without any damage. (I was told at a small dry-cleaners Boston that my women's wool coat could never be dry cleaned because the buckles required extra care and the black color might bleed, while another place in Boston charged a ton to clean it). Sunny's has never given me an issue with the same coat, and charged me an EXTREMELY reasonable price. The service lady who works at the counter is so nice, and is very knowledgeable about fabrics and cleaning. I recently needed a 2 piece suit men's suit cleaned right away for my husband, and she charged me the same regular price for having it ready for the next day..the NEXT DAY! It was even ready a few hours prior to when she had said. I would've paid an arm/limb/and then some for that kind of service in a big city. Plus I used a 20% coupon from the Valu-Pak. So they are great at dry cleaning, very respectful, great prices, plus have coupons, timely service. Everyone should come here. I wish I could leave zero stars. We took my daughters prom dress to get hemmed. They told me it…read morewould be over $400 dollars. That is more than I paid for the dress. I thought this was a reputable place since I have taken clothes there and have been pleased. Last year it was a little over a hundred. I thought that was much but they told me up front and I paid for it. They call me less than 7 days before the prom with an outrageous price of nearly $500 for a hemming. I am very disappointed. I will definitely have to take my services elsewhere. We gave them plenty of time to do the dress. It has not been touched and with less than a week when I need it you call me....please!! I told them I was picking it up on the 15th anyway. Cleaning you can go here but not for anything else. Hence the one star.

I come here when I need to wash my blankets. The machines are perfect size for large items. I have…read moreused smaller washers as well. But i mostly use the large size. The price isn't too bad. I believe it was $13. They also have free dryer days as well. I believe it to be Wednesday. But even then the dryer is 25 cents for four minutes. So the prices are not bad at all. The staff walk around and clean up the machines. This place isn't dirty at all. They also have a coffee bar here. I haven't had anything. But I'm sure it's good. I see people but it all the time.

I've been a loyal customer here for 6 years and come in weekly. Up until recently, the service has…read morealways been great--especially when Nadia was here at the beginning of this business. She was efficient, helpful, and genuinely kind. Unfortunately, today's experience was the complete opposite. At 7am, I washed two kids' jackets (size 6-7) and one full-length medium winter parka in machine #16. The machine was only about half full. I pretreated everything, but when the cycle finished, all three coats came out still soapy and stained, with visible OxiClean residue. I brought this to the attendant's attention and showed her the items and the leftover soap. Instead of addressing the issue, she suggested I should've used a larger machine...even though this one was not close to full...and then implied I may have used too much detergent. Her "solution" was to run the washer empty to check for an error code before considering re-washing my items. I explained that I didn't have an extra 30 minutes to wait for that process b/c I have to go to work, and that it didn't make sense to delay resolving the issue when the results were clearly not right. She then stated she couldn't rewash my load unless the machine was proven to be broken, because the cost would come out of her paycheck. At that point, I dropped it because I didn't want her to be penalized financially...but that response alone is concerning from a customer service standpoint. When I asked for a way to contact management, I was told to leave a Yelp review instead because she had done everything she could to make me happy. So here we are. It's disappointing that after 6 years of consistent business, a clear issue with a machine wasn't handled with basic customer care. I would've appreciated a simple solution or even an attempt to make it right, rather than being met with deflection and inconvenience. I hope management sees this and reconsiders both their machine maintenance and how customer concerns are handled moving forward.
