My husband and I were checking out the golf carts displayed at their booth at our local RV show recently. One of the reps, Chuck, spoke to us at length about a cart we were interested in. He was very informative, as we are first time buyers. Not once did we feel pressured to purchase. However, we put our deposit down on the golf cart at the show and then a week later, went to their shop to complete the deal. At that time, Chuck went over more of the cart with us as to it's care, etc. and we felt very comfortable and excited to leave with our 'new to us' golf cart knowing that Chuck and C & C Golf Carts were there for us and any questions or needs we may have in the future.

I cannot in good conscience recommend buying a golf cart from this company. They have managed to…read moremake mistakes in every aspect of my purchase. 1. My cart was delivered without the month sticker for the license plate. Something that can get you pulled over for. One was eventually mailed to me. 2. I was given the wrong VIN information by a sales person (Eddie), and had to make corrections with my insurance company and also with my bank, who holds my loan. 3. I had mentioned several times the title needed to be filed with a lien, and I was promised the finance person (Faith) would be notified and not to worry. Well the title was issued without the lien, and i need to rush to correct it before my bank raises my financing rate. (Covering the MVA fees out of pocket, btw) 4. I asked for a clay basket to be installed, which they assured me is not a problem. The cart was delivered without the basket installed. It took two weeks for them to come out to install it. The brackets were made wrong, which they admitted to, and in the same breath Eddie said he was not willing to properly correct the mistake. I had to take my cart to a local mechanic for the brackets to be repaired and installed properly. 5. After being given the "We go go over every cart with a fine toothed comb before delivery" speech, my cart was delivered with a faulty headlight. Its not been over a month and APK has zero sense of urgency in fixing it. 6. I've made several phone calls to the company to ask about updates, scheduling, etc. and every time I'm made to feel like I am bothering them by asking them to correct mistakes they've made, that they've admitted to. Now, with that said, if you want an LSV, they can sell you one. They can get the MD tag for you. Just make sure you go over the cart yourself, and point out any issues to several people in the room before you leave. Make sure you are present for all of the paperwork. Because once the deal is made, getting help from them is worse than pulling teeth. I have to add: a day after posting this review, Eddie from APK reached out to me. Not to apologize and make things right, but to scold me for posting a negative review. After my scolding, he was not interested in making me a happy customer, but wanted to end our business relationship. Asking if I was "all set now" since I had reached out to other companies out of pocket to fix the problems with the cart, and paid fees to correct the title on my own.

It was late afternoon on a Saturday and I found most of the places I called were either closed, closing soon or the person I was speaking to was not so helpful. Then, I called Stoltzfoos Batteries & Golf Carts where Ben answered the phone. Although it was fifteen minutes before their closing time and we were about twenty minutes away, Ben told us he would stay open for us and he told us not to break our necks getting there -- he would wait. We arrived after their closing time and Ben was there, waiting for us. Ben didn't try to rush us and he made us feel welcome and I felt that he really appreciated our being there. He walked us around his nice store with lots to look at and described everything in detail, justifying the differences in price of each golf cart. We could tell we were dealing with an honest man and we decided this was where we would buy our golf cart. We chose a great-looking, bright red, hot rod E-Z-GO RXV electric golf cart. Ben made our purchase painless and we walked out feeling great about spending our money there. Anything mechanical can break down, and sure enough, after a couple months we had a problem and our golf cart would not move. Of course, it was a Sunday, so just like every other business in this part of Pennsylvania, Stoltzfoos Battery & Golf Carts was closed. We left a message on their phone about the problem and where we had left the golf cart on the side of a campground road. First thing Monday morning, Ben called us and told us he would take care of the problem right away -- I had no doubt he was telling the truth. Tuesday morning, Ben called us to let us know that they had fixed our golf cart Monday evening and they had returned it to our campsite. What they did here goes way beyond what we would expect of the very best customer service. Again, our dealing with Stoltzfoos Batteries & Golf Carts was painless. We have never been happier with the way a business has treated us. I am sure anybody else who deals with them will feel the same way.
