Sitting down at a community table to discuss my therapy & to have my bandage opened & changed among everyone else there was something I had never experienced before. Private health information & wounds were always cared for privately. Of course, the therapy itself was in a large open room similar to the one at Hale Hand Clinic... Karen was very kind and knowledgeable. I was pleased with my therapy & my progress thus far... Can't wait to see her Friday to show her what I can do now!! MARCH 2025 Review: PAPERWORK... Should be offered to be filled out BEFORE arriving. The first time I went in February, I had left-hand surgery & could still use my right hand to fill out the paperwork... However, less than a month later I had right-hand surgery and could NOT use my right hand to fill out paperwork. Thank goodness there was someone kind enough to fill out the paperwork for me, but if given the ability to fill out the paperwork online before the appointment - it would've been MUCH easier & more comprehensible! JUNE 2025 Review: I'm done! Both hands are feeling great! I needed some Iontophoresis therapy & that utilizes electrical currents to deliver corticosteroid through the skin, to reduce inflammation and pain in my hands. Karen would massage both hands (palms), wipe off the lotion with alcohol, inject the Dexamethasone onto a pad (with a built in battery) that was connected to the Iontophoresis machine (using electrical stimulation (electrodes). Ions in the substance use the charge of the electrical current to deliver the medication by repelling each other like magnets.), stick it to my hands, & then put the 2nd electrode pad will be filled with saline & placed on my arm to help conduct that electrical connection, so to speak... THERAPIST: Karen is Awesome! Sometimes there are double bookings of clients, but don't worry! For instance, when I was on the Iontophoresis machine, there wasn't anything she could do for me, so she was with someone else, but was always Very Close by to help if needed & pay attention... This place is Great!

The nurses receptionist etc. I've have 3 children that have gone here for checkups. Sometimes I have 2 children for one visit because they're due for checkups at the same time, the nurses have mixed up the notes for the children multiple times. I've had nurses put down the incorrect information multiple times. I've even had appointments made incorrectly and when calling to fix it they have an attitude.

Yes, the facility is older and does need updating. However, the staff...they have been wonderful from day one. Every staff member that I have encountered has been very friendly, helpful and professional. As to a couple of the reviews.... 1. "leaving the food tray on the table out of reach" if the table was out of my reach, they moved it closer to me. 2. "left sitting in unsanitary condition, lack of care & concern" The 2nd or 3rd night I had an accident and the CNA was right on top of it. No waiting at all. 3. "brother left on the toilet for an hour" my roommate had an issue and was in the bathroom for a while and our CNA must have checked on her every 5 minutes to make sure she was ok, if she needed help, etc. I would come back here, should I ever need to again. I am very well cared for...by the nurses, CNA's and the physica/occupational therapists. Even the upper staff, ie: Addmissions Director, Unit Nurse, etc have been wonderful.

My brother is stuck deteriorating next to an air-conditioning unit that's full of mold and freezes him all the time. While the man next to him receives constant care. When He receives visits, friends and family are repeatedly told the facility is shorthanded and cannot assist getting him out of bed and into a wheelchair. So family/friends are prevented from taking him outside for fresh air and sunshine. He has repeatedly been left in an uncleaned state. He is Served food he does not care for at all, if he gets fed, and if he gets taken out of bed and put into a wheelchair. When a complaint is filed or you speak with a administrator in charge, they act very attentive and say will look into this and make sure it doesn't happen again. Empty promises that only gets worse. He's neglected more and more every day. There is literally nothing we can do and we are at their mercy. They don't seem to have any concern or compassion for people that can not take care of themselves. The lack of parking at the front entrance is awful. To find a parking place, one must park in the back, in a sketchy neighborhood, and walk over a block where it is not safe, just to visit anyone there. The private courtyard shown in the pictures is completely unacceptable for my family member. The photos are misleading. The rooms are small. My brother has very little space while the man next to him takes up most of it. When visiting you have to stand in front of the nasty air conditioning unit and freeze. But that gives him some relief from the cold. If there was anyway we could do anything different, we would. Unfortunately, as I said earlier, you were at their mercy, and I do not see them very merciful.
