From the back-to-school event and Halloween celebration to the Turkey Trot dance, Lunch with Santa, Bingo, GEMS, Father-Son events, and two field trips each year, the sense of community here is incredible. The tree lighting and Christmas serenade are especially memorable and truly capture the warmth of the school community. This is by far the best school community we've ever been a part of, and it's an absolute gem in the heart of South Philly.

Other schools have overbearing policies when it comes to CoVID. Goddard's policies show pre-caution but also demonstrate common sense. They know that day-care and a parent's work are necessities and have acted accordingly. The staff and teachers couldn't be more courteous, conscientious, or outgoing--for both parents and the kids. I can't say enough good things about how the Goddard School goes about its business. My new born son is already signed up with the School and will be going when he is six/seven months.

Although, what is wrong with this school is the Owners and Management; their lack of communication skills are limited to children only, when it comes to speaking with Adult Parents - they belittle parents like they are are the children, and when confronted with how discontent I was becoming while getting yelled at by the owner Kate over the phone - she threaten me with calling the Police, and to use Video & Audio recording against me....when I did and said nothing wrong. After accepting her threat to call the police, she receded her words.....proceeded to contact to the police herself first, and told them that I am no longer allowed on the property anymore to pick up or drop off my daughter. I will not say this school isn't great, because it really is. but the Front Office does not handle things appropriately. They should remain unbiased and neutral, but they do not.

We constantly tell people that sending our children to your school was one of the best decisions we have ever made as parents. Our daughter has grown immensely from the education and structure received since her start and we thank you for that. We look forward to her continued growth and the progression of our sons development as he begins. Additionally we respect the discipline, level of instruction and experience that all of the staff offer to our children through their variety of learning engagements. The staff is not only supportive, friendly and caring but are committed to educating our children vs the common "babysitting" practice we experienced with prior Childcare facilities. Lastly we have great comfort in knowing this is a safe school with implemented safety technology/procedures that are executed daily giving us the assurance our children are in safe hands during the day. A huge thank you again for running a great progam and to the operation of a safe and educating childcare facility. Brian and Carly
