Y2 Academy was one of the most effective resources I used during my SAT preparation. Their…read morematerials are very well developed- they provided numerous full-length practice tests and homework sets (each was about half a test), all at a consistently high difficulty level. That level of difficulty is what sets them apart from other prep programs I tried, which often didn't come close to replicating the challenge of the actual SAT. That way, when it came to the easier modules on the actual SAT (especially for the reading sections), I had more confidence that I was answering each question correctly. Additionally, although I was enrolled in their Summer 2024 program, Y2 gave me access to all their tests for a full year, which was extremely helpful for long-term prep. I was able to review, take tests, and continue practicing at my own pace. This way, I was able to improve my score throughout the school year instead of relying on just a couple of weeks of practice over the summer. Using their materials helped me increase my score, scoring in the 99th percentile in reading and 98th percentile in math. The structure, difficulty, and depth of their practice resources really pushed me to improve and helped me along this process. My two kids have been going to Tailored Tutoring for 5 years. They've loved all their tutors, and…read morethey've always excelled in school thanks to them. When COVID shut everything down in the Spring, Tailored Tutoring switched to offering lessons online and made sure our kids continued to advance their learning despite the headaches and setbacks that remote schooling created for our whole family. This Fall we decided to homeschool due to COVID, and Tailored Tutoring is the only reason we've been able to do that. The kids are doing daily one-on-one sessions with Tailored Tutoring in English/Language Arts, Math, Writing, and Spanish. They're learning more effectively then they did in remote school, they're more engaged, and this has turned out to be way less stressful for me than remote school. There is a sense of compassion experienced where you know your child is around people that truly care about their academic success. Especially this location the staff is very caring and genuine. The owner has a diverse and extensive background with the kids. Both my kids go here , they are always excited to go in and they don't want to come back .and I highly recommend this place.I have tried other places before for my kids but this location is the best that I have encountered. kudos to them keep up the good work.
