They even provide bags so pet owners can clean up after them. Nice on site laundry and game room. Inside, outside and covered outside storage also on site when available. The Peak is approximately 15 - 20 minutes away from many area towns and the Wichita mountains wildlife refuge and Medicine Park. The park is not all lite up so it's a stargazer's paradise. Whether you're looking for a place for the night, weekend or in the area for work or a graduation we highly recommend it.

The park owners are on site and willing to help you out immediately should you have any issues. When we pulled in the breaker on the box was a 30 amp breaker which they changed to a 50 amp just for us. They even went into town with us to show us around and made sure we had everything we needed. Great people! Open 24 hours with super affordable daily, weekly and monthly rates.

I'm giving one star because I know it's summer and there's only so much you can do. But here's why I am giving this review ( & I never do bad reviews) - when we first drove in, everything is dead (grass, dog area) everything. I get water is scarce but a little would be nice for animals. -weeds with stickers in them everywhere (hence again that it's not ideal for pets) -no one was there to check us in, just a piece of paper with our name and site. The door is locked so if you needed help with anything, no one is there. - the sewer connection didn't have a top on it so there's flies everywhere down the sewer line. I could see others just had rocks set on top. -any shaded spot is taken up by long term users (I mean I get it but seriously...) - the picnic table is broken None of this helps with the fact that this place is in the middle of nowhere, so your closest stores are at least 30-40 mins away. I understand that for the price point it comes at, you have to give and take with quality. But let's just say we left a day early to go a few hours to the next spot.

When we arrived Mrs. Woods was at the front office waiting, very welcoming and super nice, this was way easier than booking online just good old fashion phone call. I would definitely recommend this park to stay, it is quiet, clean and mainly James and Mrs. Woods made us feel welcome. Oh and the night it's very quiet after 10 PM because there is absolutely no cars passing by. Thank you James for accommodating us on short notice, we will definitely stop by when traveling through Elk City OK.

A quaint simple place to stop whether just for the night or a week like we did while passing…read morethrough. The location is good since it's right off the freeway and you can have full hook ups if needed. The staff were very nice, the animals on the property were so sweet to see (donkey, cows, goats, sheep, ducks and chickens). We enjoyed our quiet stay and took advantage of the property a d tried to walk at least two miles a day or every other while there. Side note: the town of Shamrock is a close drive with a couple historical buildings. It's small and of course older but worth checking out. There is very good steakhouse in town called the Metropole worth eating at as well. Recommended for your rv stop over needs.
