The office is not regularly staffed and you have to call the number posted on the door and a guy drives up on a golf cart. Yes, they say they have a clean clubhouse, tv, and free washer/dryers. There was two washers (only one worked) and three dryers (only 1 1/2 worked) The washing machine that worked was filthy dirty! Someone must have washed all their dog/cat bedding in it. The tv in the club house has no cable box, so it doesn't work. I would recommend this park for the long term "fully self contained" rv'er, not so much for the overnight traveler. Cheers

The Lazy Buffalo has potential, but it misses the mark in a few important ways…read more CONS: * The cabin A/C units are weak and outdated. There's even a sticky note next to each unit suggesting "72° is optimal"--but none of our cabins ever cooled that low. Management clearly knows this since every room also comes with an oscillating fan. Without the fan, sleeping comfortably would've been impossible. * The couch in the lodge is downright gross. No clue when it was last cleaned, but it feels long overdue. * WiFi is basically useless. I'm convinced they're running a residential setup for the whole property. It was painfully slow--I ended up relying on my phone's data most of the time. * No ice machine anywhere on site (that I could find). PROS: * The main hall/community room is great--lots of space, a big kitchen, and perfect for group activities. * Location is solid: only about 15 minutes from Medicine Park. * Horseshoes, cornhole, and frisbee golf are a nice touch. * Fire pit and outdoor charcoal grill made evenings fun. * Management is pretty reliable. Easy to reach. INDIFFERENT: * The lodge offers washers and dryers, but the hours of availability could be better. Overall: a 3-star stay. It works fine for a group gathering if you don't mind sweating it out in the cabins and bringing your own WiFi/ice solutions.

I would just like to start by saying that the only other person who has reviewed must have had a…read morecompletely different experience then I did or possibly has mistaken this place for another because I have never had a more pleasant and inviting experience. We first were told that our room will be ready an hour earlier then expected and then we were greeted by this beautifully outgoing and welcoming person. Her Name was Colleen and she is the owner of the bed and breakfast. She quickly told us where to park and exactly how to enjoy the amenities of her property. There was a beautiful veranda which was a wrap around porch that looked over medicine Park. We spent a lot of time on that veranda that I have pictured below. The coyote den where we stayed was more like a studio apartment. I would say it's cozy with 6 and yes the bedroom was open to the living room. There was one bed, one pull out couch, and one long couch to sleep on. She did say that she will be updating the place more and more. She even offered her couch as additional sleeping. It's a very welcoming and homey atmosphere with snacks at the table and even 2 beers in the fridge to start off. If you are younger and enjoy drinking and hanging she is more then welcome to join and have a great time. She even brought out one of her favorite bottles of scotch from Scotland. She told us of amazing trails around the wildlife refuge and even about a music festival that was going on in the city center. We cooked out on the propane grill she provided and she even had a charcoal grill as well. The breakfast she prepared for us was amazing! I could not rave about this more. She brought out normal coffee but also French press coffee. She had eggs scrambled with hatch chiles from New Mexico, biscuits and gravy, prickly pear jam, rhubarb jam (both made fresh from her garden), and bacon. Seriously I could not promote this business more. I actually kind of want to keep it a secret it's so amazing. I even included a picture of Colleen enjoying breakfast with us.

We wanted a quiet little getaway and had never been to medicine park we quickly found this place and booked our stay. It was so close to town, and near some great hiking! The room was large and spacious but felt so cozy and inviting- like you were stepping in to a friends house. They had a cute little s'mores set up ready to go, and a basket of snacks. The host has even included a great list of things to do and places to eat in town. We made a fire in the large fire pit out back and enjoyed our s'mores under the stars. The wrap around porch has lots of comfortable seating and ample fire wood so there's no need to bring your own. They even had s'more sticks- though we didn't bring ours as well as our kit ha the shower was so nice and the bathroom was stocked well with shampoo, conditioner, body wash, a hair dryer, makeup wipes and bug wipes! Which I had never seen but they definitely came in handy! And I will definitely be looking to add that to our hiking gear!

Now I see the other bad reviews and I should have taken time to read and pick another place, I hope…read moreyou do not stay here. I'm furious and in disbelief on the complete lack of customer service at this hotel! I was kicked out by the manager after being there for united and then politely complained about the cleanliness of the room.  I had a reservation for two separate rooms on Oct. 14th for 3 nights so I can visit and see my son off on an overseas deployment. I arrived at the hotel 30 minutes before "check in time" so if I wanted to go to my rooms I'd have to pay an additional $20 and since I just wanted to go see my son and had spent the last 11hours traveling from Oregon I paid so I can drop my luggage instead of sitting in lobby.  I went to my room, and right away noticed how unclean everything was and really expected a much nicer room with the higher cost than the other places I had stayed in Lawton over the past few years on previous visits. There was pubic hair on the bathroom floor, the floor around toilet had not been cleaned for sometime, there was a Bobby pin and hair under bathroom sink area, shower had mold, a dirty fridge with someone else's yogurt opened in it, two phone charger ports did not work at all I tried 3 cords, the pool and hot tub were scheduled to be closed for repairs on November 1st (one reason I picked this place was to use these) but both were covered in tons of leafs and a shopping bag in pool, so they had not been cleaned or usable for a while.  I went downstairs and was only polite and courteous and I was met with the upmost unprofessional manager I have ever met.  It was literally like I was being pranked on a TV show and I stood there in shock. After I explained and showed her the photos of the room she looked at me and said "ya it's not going to workout with you staying here you need to leave." I told her there's no where else, I travelled all day to visit some who's leaving and I'll just deal with it and clean it up myself, she said ummm no you need to get your stuff and find somewhere else.  I went back to my room grabbed my bags then stopped at desk and asked when refund would be issued since I just paid over $1200 for the two rooms, she said she was working on them and they be returned as fast as my bank allowed.  One room refunded and she has denied any other even after I provided Expedia all documentation, explanations. I was in the room for approximately 3 minutes and should not be charged for this room as I was not able to stay.  I'm not going to explain my whole life but I have 5 children and I don't have almost $500 to just toss to a hotel I never stayed at and had to scramble to find another one  week the Army was having a graduation ceremony.  I am appalled on how I was treated and this hotels manager is setting this kind of behavior for other employees that were standing there watching this unfold (4 employees). I will attempt to fight for my money to be returned and really hope that this employee is reprimand as this is completely unacceptable and she knew this was going to be the outcome.
