They even provide bags so pet owners can clean up after them. Nice on site laundry and game room. Inside, outside and covered outside storage also on site when available. The Peak is approximately 15 - 20 minutes away from many area towns and the Wichita mountains wildlife refuge and Medicine Park. The park is not all lite up so it's a stargazer's paradise. Whether you're looking for a place for the night, weekend or in the area for work or a graduation we highly recommend it.

The park owners are on site and willing to help you out immediately should you have any issues. When we pulled in the breaker on the box was a 30 amp breaker which they changed to a 50 amp just for us. They even went into town with us to show us around and made sure we had everything we needed. Did not take long to see how the management of the park favored some over others. They became vicious towards my neighbors that fed half that park and welcomed all that came. It looks like most spaces are vacation homes because a lot of RVs had permanent decks attached. The park was quiet. It was convenient to Medicine Park and the Wichita Mountain Wildlife Park where we saw buffalo. We also drove up to the top of Mt. Scott for a magnificent view.

We have family that rented an RV spot at this park for over a year. Throughout the year, they ran…read morein several issues where something was not allowed like winterizing their RV, putting up a small dog pen and using a water hose that is provided to renters for use when needed. Each time they were informed of a problem, the owner created a rule saying that they were disobeying rules they were never informed of and that only applied to them. After 3 months they also started charging them for boat parking when that is included on their website, and they were told that the owner Jimmie hadn't updated the website so they had to pay it. The final problem came up when they used the water hose provided to rinse their tank out and they were told that they used $500 dollars of water to when rinsing their tank. They asked for proof of this charge and they were told that all RV park tenants were on the same account, but they had to pay it anyway. When they did not pay these additional fees, they gave them less than 24 hours to move and then sent slanderous messages to all surrounding RV Parks with very bad language telling them not to rent to this young couple. After this situation and reading other negative reviews for this RV park, I strongly suggest that you consider renting an RV spot from anyone else except Lawtonka RV Park!!! We also have text proof of all of these conversations directly from the owners of this park!

Just recently ran into another problem from rinsing out our tank and they told us that cost an extra $500 in water fees because we aren't allowed to do that. When we asked them for proof that our unit was the one causing the water bill problem they told us we are all on one unit so there's no way to show where it's coming from but that we were the cause. they then gave you less than 24 hours to get out. Then they text and called every RV park in the area and told them that we didn't pay our bills and we were awful people to work with completely slanderous and uncalled for. We have text message proof of all conversations. I would highly recommend that you stay far away from Lawtonka RV Park because after seeing many other negative reviews this is a behavior that you will experience there too
