I would just like to start by saying that the only other person who has reviewed must have had a…read morecompletely different experience then I did or possibly has mistaken this place for another because I have never had a more pleasant and inviting experience. We first were told that our room will be ready an hour earlier then expected and then we were greeted by this beautifully outgoing and welcoming person. Her Name was Colleen and she is the owner of the bed and breakfast. She quickly told us where to park and exactly how to enjoy the amenities of her property. There was a beautiful veranda which was a wrap around porch that looked over medicine Park. We spent a lot of time on that veranda that I have pictured below. The coyote den where we stayed was more like a studio apartment. I would say it's cozy with 6 and yes the bedroom was open to the living room. There was one bed, one pull out couch, and one long couch to sleep on. She did say that she will be updating the place more and more. She even offered her couch as additional sleeping. It's a very welcoming and homey atmosphere with snacks at the table and even 2 beers in the fridge to start off. If you are younger and enjoy drinking and hanging she is more then welcome to join and have a great time. She even brought out one of her favorite bottles of scotch from Scotland. She told us of amazing trails around the wildlife refuge and even about a music festival that was going on in the city center. We cooked out on the propane grill she provided and she even had a charcoal grill as well. The breakfast she prepared for us was amazing! I could not rave about this more. She brought out normal coffee but also French press coffee. She had eggs scrambled with hatch chiles from New Mexico, biscuits and gravy, prickly pear jam, rhubarb jam (both made fresh from her garden), and bacon. Seriously I could not promote this business more. I actually kind of want to keep it a secret it's so amazing. I even included a picture of Colleen enjoying breakfast with us.

Our breakfast was rushed and dishes left outside as our host rushed off to church. The location is beautiful but the property needs a lot of work and is becoming run down.

We wanted a quiet little getaway and had never been to medicine park we quickly found this place and booked our stay. It was so close to town, and near some great hiking! The room was large and spacious but felt so cozy and inviting- like you were stepping in to a friends house. They had a cute little s'mores set up ready to go, and a basket of snacks. The host has even included a great list of things to do and places to eat in town. We made a fire in the large fire pit out back and enjoyed our s'mores under the stars. The wrap around porch has lots of comfortable seating and ample fire wood so there's no need to bring your own. They even had s'more sticks- though we didn't bring ours as well as our kit ha the shower was so nice and the bathroom was stocked well with shampoo, conditioner, body wash, a hair dryer, makeup wipes and bug wipes! Which I had never seen but they definitely came in handy! And I will definitely be looking to add that to our hiking gear!

The only good: Staff was very nice, polite and helpful…read more Room: not clean. Thermostat did not work. We were either freezing cold or hot. We asked for service twice, but it never got fixed. We were there 4 nights, but our room was only serviced on our last day. When I went to the front desk to ask for clean towels, we were told they didn't have any: laundry had not done their job. The front desk person rounded up a few clean swimming pool towels, but had no washcloths or hand towels to give us. Breakfast food was nearly empty 20 minutes before the breakfast time ended. Lounge area chairs were threadbare and tables not clean. This place is poorly managed and not up to the Hilton brand standards. It was a convenient location, but next time, I'll definitely find something else.

Two days in a row housekeeping just left a note that said "Sorry we do not have clean towels today" Once I reported the bed bugs of course they inspect it and say they do not see anything but I attached picture for proof. The bedding was torn off the bed when they had me switch rooms so you know they saw something too. Then in my second room they have a water pipe burst in the lobby and it floods half of the entire first floor. Smells terrible and floods half of my room with one inch deep water.(See picture) Reported everything again to front desk, they tell me to speak to a manager which I can understand I mean they are just front desk workers. Manager never gives me a call back or answers my messages. Holly Conde is the manager I mean I get being busy because your hotel is crumbling but at least taking time for resolution after all the problems is in order. Dirty floors, dirty tubs, toiletries falling off the walls and being empty. Overall 1/5 I would try other hotels in Lawton.

There was no manager on duty during our stay because managers don't work on the weekends at this property. The room smelled heavily of smoke, which triggered coughing for my 4-year-old daughter who has asthma. There was a missing door knob, sinks and the tub would not drain, and visible deterioration of furniture including peeling paint causing lead poisoning. These maintenance and safety concerns were not resolved while we were on property. Additionally, the hotel is under renovation with no notice on the website, and the photos do not accurately reflect the current condition. The experience did not match Hilton brand standards and it actually is a motel experience. I was told my government rate would be honored at check-in, but it was not. I was also told a manager would contact me and that compensation points would be issued. I received neither confirmation nor follow-up. I have photo and video documentation of these issues. Makayla and Renee not problem solvers. We are requesting appropriate resolution and expect corporate review of this property's management and guest service practices. This experience fell far below Hilton's advertised standards. Do not stay here until it is safe and suitable for guests. There are several hotels in the same area.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. Our first room we checked into had a nasty smell to it, and a burn spot on the carpet in the center. Apparently the placard showed it as a smoking room, while the app which I used to do check in via the Hilton app showed all rooms as not smoking. Whether the placard reflected whether guests were actually allowed to smoke, the room smelled bad. We asked the front desk to switch rooms and they were understanding and let us switch rooms easily. Our second room was good. All pictures were taken right before checking out, as we were quite tired when we arrived, so the cleanliness was much better at the start. The kitchenette was a very nice amenity and allowed us to comfortably eat leftovers or delivery in the room. The sitting area was nice, and the door separating the bedroom from the sitting area is a nice feature if staying with additional guests. None of the windows opened, so it made any smells in the room stay for quite some time, which we disliked. The sink area is nice, but the bathroom was a bit outdated in its style, with a combined shower and bath. Reminded me of home. The location is really good if you're trying to get to Fort Sill or the Casino right across the highway, but our destination was the other side of town, so it took us a bit longer than if we had gotten something closer. That's more on us than the hotel's fault. Breakfast was one of the better ones I've had at a Hilton, with oatmeal, breakfast tacos, and the standard eggs and potatoes. Overall, the hotel had some nice aspects to it, but it wasn't anything too special. We paid about $100 a night, which was a pretty decent price, especially for the room to include a kitchenette. It's about as good as you'll get in the area, so for Lawton, fairly good hotel.

I recommend getting a room on the opposite side of the freeway so it's quieter. Easy to get to Fort Sill and close to Viridian Coffee. Cons: pretty far from most places in Lawton, not close to most of the good restaurants. The breakfast is white breads, bland cereals, and waffles. Not for me. The coffee is terrible. Everything was cooked and made with love and the staff were above and beyond friendly making me feel at home at Sleep Inn, especially the breakfast staff. I really enjoyed their Original flavored oatmeal, eggs, sausage, waffles and apple juice. They had more breakfast items, but those are my hotel usuals. It also wasn't hard to find great parking, there were plenty of spaces. The location is also close to the freeway for convenience. They have great check in and check out times too! For a smooth and wonderful stay, I recommend Sleep Inn.
